If you can only stop at one grocery store during your trip, this would be the one! They have everything your vegan heart might desire. I stopped by at least five times. I was able to buy so many vegan proteins such as faux meats, vegan yogurt, protein powders, etc. and many vegan treats. They offer so many vegan pastries and baked savory items, such as cinnamon rolls, walnut rolls, burek (a vegan meat and a vegan meat and cheese option), strudels, sandwiches, croissants, etc.! There are so many other vegan staples and other items to be had here. The staff are incredibly lovely! I 100% recommend this place! I’m so sad I won’t be able to visit it daily anymore soon.

there are many options for tofu and seitan and vegan cheeses here. I bought some of those and also the vegan cinnamon rolls. would recommend! friendly staff and loads of products 👌

Recomiendo muchísimo ir a esta tienda porque da muchísimo más de lo que parece. Casi toda la tienda es vegana por lo que vas a tener muchísimo productos para comprar. Pero además, cuentan con comida y postres hechos en la tienda que son típicos de Eslovenia que están increíblemente buenos. Nosotros hemos comido 2 tipos de burek distintos y dos postres de chocolate y estaban de 10. Os animo a ir a consumir a esta tienda porque tienen de todo y puedes comprar comida para sentarte a comer enfrente del río. Además, las chicas son majísimas. Hablan en inglés por lo que no hay dificultad en ese aspecto. Hemos comprado: 2 burek, 2 tartas de chocolate, queso en lonchas y bacon vegano y nos ha salido a 20€.

Good selection of vegan food and baked goods. We tried cinnamon rolls (could be a little softer), borek (my non vegan friend talked about to her bosnian mother so you know it’s good) and pumpkin cake (soft warm and perfect for fall and winter).

Popped in a couple times to get lunch and breakfast whilst in Ljubljana. They offer good vegan pastries including croissants and pre-made sandwiches. Additionally they have a store full of meat and milk alternatives as well as other health foods. What brings this down is that every time I visited the staff were a little rude and abrupt and acted like I inconvenienced them. When I asked if one of the sandwiches has ‘ham’ in(obviously meaning a meat alternative ham), the server snapped ‘this is a vegan shop, we don’t have ham’.

The store is small but well-stocked, and features a deli counter with fresh loaves of bread and filled sandwiches. Plenty of gluten-free options, confectionary, ingredients and toiletries as well as a impressive selection of dairy-free cheeses and dairy alternatives.

Great little Health Food Shop with Baked Goods - Edit
This shop opens nice and early! You can get a vegan pastry there for breakfast and they continue to add more cakes and sandwiches to the counter throughout the day. They have a good stock of dry and refrigerated goods for cooking too. The staff are super nice and helpful.

Small bakery at this eco market has loads of vegan snack options. About 50% is vegan and everything sounds delicious. Crossaints for only 1€. Tried the walnut crossaint and some kind of filled bread stick, both were good.

Great little shop offering a bit of everything. Takeaway food, grocery provisions, vitamins etc. I finally found a vegan burek! It had tofu and spinach as a filling, could’ve been a little bit more moist. The croissants were delicious and made for a quick tasty breakfast the next morning. The small carton of Oatly was great for travelling too. Had some products I’d not seen before. Well worth popping in.
