Tasty food, somewhat welcoming

So other people have commented on the waitresses not speaking English - this is somewhat true. The young lady who took our order spoke English well. The staff seemed not so welcoming or pleased to have us there. I think they were preparing for a big group of guests who had reserved tables.
We had a yummy mutton curry (essentially a rendang) and salted chili tofu (meh) but the menu had foods we hadn’t seen on other menus -‘esp a lot of tofu it was busy. A monk even came in to eat😄

Pros: Variety of food , Clean restaurant

Cons: Somewhat unfriendly staff , Gross moldy bathroom😒

Average

The food was ok but nothing special. The waitresses don't speak English which isn't a problem but they don't even look into your face while taking an order or bringing the food which made us a bit uncomfortable. Food is affordable and service is fast.

Old school goodness

This feels like your classic Chinese vegetarian restaurant that has been around for many years. The elderly lady that served us looked fierce but did try to accommodate our requests.

We wanted to have the Sambal 4 Seasons Vegetable but they ran out of sambal so she suggested to take the petai dish and have it cooked with tau cheong instead.

I explained that we wanted the 4 Seasons Vegetable as that had 4 kinds of vegetables so she said they could cook it spicy instead which was perfect.

The lady didn't speak English so I had to speak in my broken Cantonese. However later I saw some other tables which had Indian patrons and there was a dedicated server who spoke in English😄

I asked for brown rice and she didn't tell us thee's no brown rice. Only when the dish came out, she said they have no brown rice even though it was on the menu.

The spicy dish was very delicious, flavoursome and satisfying.

Reminded me of the dishes I used to eat when I was younger.

We thanked them and told the lady we enjoyed the food. She didn't know how to respond but the younger server was very happy and greeted us goodbye in a cheery tone and waved :)

I would go back to try the other dishes if I can as I love all these old school, traditional Chinese places :)

You do need to specify that you don't eat egg or dairy if you're vegan.

Pros: Large menu

Cozy vegetarian restaurant.

Found after paying the restaurant added 1rm each for towels without asking or making clear. Doesn't seem too honest. Food was ok but could be a bit tastier. Some of the dishes seemed over priced.

Pros: Menu had a lot of options that looked good, Good location, easy to get to., Fresh ingredients

Cons: Sneaking extras onto bill , Expensive , Not terrify clean

Variety vegan mock meats

We was here with our non vegan Chinese friends before Chinese New Year. We tried traditional Chinese salad and other Chinese dishes on vegan way. They had many dishes with vegan mock meat, it was good for us and our friends. Not only vegetables :)

Pros: Good food, Vegan options , Clean and nice place

Cons: Not cheap

The food wasn't anything special. Good prices though.

Good for hotel guests

Similar to the place a few doors down, but a bit cheaper as all main dishes can be ordered small (for one person) or large (to share).

First time we had the small of both the dumpling soup (which was delicious and still huge) and the ginger fish (good, but strong taste, especially without rice).
Round two was economy rice with vegetables and tofu (nice, but bland), eco rice with char siu (delicious but no vegetables), and seaweed soup (tasty!)

Pros: size options, tasty, big portions
