MmmmmmK - Edit
Early flight so the vegan breakfast it was. Unfortunately the reality didn’t match the expectation. Not really a fan of the texture of the tofu eggs, but the flavour was okay. Everything was generally quite dry, which I think just some beans might have fixed. I love beetroot, but this sausage thing was awful. The seitan bacon was just weird and the sweet potatoes weren’t quite done... they tasted okay though. I feel like the mistake here was to try and have too many meat substitutes rather then being inventive.
Read moreI eat at Wagamama every so often and the regular vegan options for their day/night time menu are great. Shame about the breakfast

Cons: Not so good breakfast, Expensive for what it is...

Full English - Edit
A full English was the perfect thing for a UK for a stopover. Decent flavors, not spectacular but pretty good for a departure lounge.

It was a bit pricey but the food was decent enough. The vegan curry was good. Not huge but tasty.

Good, but vegan breakfast didn't live up to the hype - Edit
I like the Wagamama menu and it's for sure one of the better and fresher options at Heathrow airport. Having said that, I visited specifically to try the full vegan breakfast - which was underwhelming and at over £10 not worth it in my opinion. While it was overall a bit dry with the mushrooms dry fried and no fat to spread onto the slice of bread, the tofu scrample was made with silken tofu and a bit on the watery side. I like my scrambled tofu made with firm and/or smoked tofu and very well seasoned, which it wasn't here.
Read moreThey have some teas and also oat (but no other plant) milk.
I'll either stick to them for lunch or dinner or order one of the smaller breakfast options. 4 stars due to the breadth of choice for vegans.

Good vegan options but slow service - Edit
I’ve been here a couple of times whilst flying out of T5 at Heathrow Airport - definitely the best place in the terminal for vegan food in my opinion, although the service can be very slow/inattentive. The vegan katsu curry and full breakfast I’ve had here have both been very tasty and filling though.

Amazing vegan options! - Edit
We were here yesterday! They had also breakfast food. The avocado toast with scrambled tofu... sooo delicious! The costumer service was great! It wasn’t very full of people but many waitresses came to us asking if everything was ok. Attention was quick. The smoothies were also very healthy tasty. Really at airports I have a very low expectation of vegan food. Here it was definitely an upgrade from my expectation.

Wagamama to the rescue! - Edit
This place is a fail-safe for vegans in the UK. If you’re hungry, you can be certain that they have something for you here. Clearly labeled vegan items and quite a good number of items. However, the customer service is lacking at this location. I had to order a glass of water 3 separate times before it was finally brought out at the end of my meal. I blame them being located in a busy airport, though. Also, no slight on just this chain but I’m not a fan of places having the flatware readily available in a communal basket on communal tables/bars, no of using wooden utensils (used for the soups). It is especially worrisome during flu season.

Nice airport vegan - Edit
Had a fried vegan yasai katsu curry with sweet potato, aubergine, and butternut squash with a curry sauce. Also had a mushroom and aubergine steamed bun with coriander. Good and fast service. Next time, I will stay away from the fried items on the menu.

Always perfect! - Edit
Love that I can get freshly prepared vegan food at Heathrow now.
Read moreWagamama have a separate vegan menu with lots of choice from main courses, sides and desserts too. Also freshly prepared fruit and veggie juices and vegan drinks menu including alchol.
I normally go for the yasai itame (its so good) with
rice noodles in a spicy green coconut and lemongrass soup with tofu and vegetables. topped with stir-fried beansprouts, red and spring onions, bok choi,
peppers, mushrooms and chilli. garnished with coriander and fresh lime and take the wok-fried greens as a side. I'm also made for their edamame with chilli salt.
Always a safe bet, just leave enough time to have a relaxing meal prior to the flight.
Usually good service and quick too!
Pros: Always good, Lots of seating, Lots of choice for vegans and veggies

Easy airport food - Edit
Large vegan selection and much preferable to airplane food. There was a queue but it moved quickly. Sadly with Wagamama the food arrives at seperate times and my vegan course arrived when everyone else had nearly finished their meals. The tofu was a great texture.
