Underwhelming döner - Edit
I only tried the vöner, so don't know about the other options. But it was incredibly underwhelming.
Read moreThis place is just wayy too hyped. The seitan meat seems homemade, and not in good way, but in an amateur way. Texture almost like minced meat and not very tasty, mostly just very salty. Nothing like döner meat.
Good options for sauce, but that's about the only thing that they did better than most average döner shops.
Quite disappointing, considering they are known for their döner you would expect way better quality.
Pros: Good service
Cons: Low quality döner meat

Amazing - Edit
We had vegan durum, currywurst and cheesy fries and everything was out of this world. One of the best things we ate in Berlin

Quick and personal - Edit
We went here after a search engine search for vegan currywurst.
Read moreThe portions we took were big and delicious. The place was quite noisy so the ordering took a moment. We were advised to pick the drinks we like directly from the fridge. The drinks and food was cheap in our opinion.
The service was quick and the ready orders were announced with an order number to a microphone in English and in German.
There are about 10 seats indoors and about the same amount outdoors.
In addition to the food, I liked the fact that there were flyers to take (animal rights, grassroot events, fair fashion etc.) and different stickers were allowed in the toilet facilities and around the door.
Pros: Big portions with little money, Flyers, stickers etc. welcome, Toilet
Cons: Few seats, Cash only, Noisy

A must when in Berlin - Edit
Döner is very typical for Berlin so trying the vegan version is a must! Portion is huge and is under €6! I can only recommend this place

Not the best service - Edit
Hmm, this was a bit of a dissapointment.
Read moreI went with my non-vegan husband, he is really open to vegan mock meats etc but has sensory issues with certain foods (particularly salad, certain vegetables), but I really wanted to try a vegan kebab for my first time in Berlin and found this place on HappyCow, so he said he'd come with me.
Granted I understand things are different in different countries, but in the UK when you get a kebab you get the meat and usually you choose what salad you want etc. When we arrived I asked if we chose what salad we wanted and the women serving us seemed incredibly annoyed with the idea. I asked for one kebab with salad and one without and said he my husband didn't like salad. When it arrived it had salad on it... I took it back and said I ordered without and she reluctantly took it from us, and said in a really grumpy way "so just bread, and meat?". I said yes (had already said this before very clearly), then when the new one was ready she shouted "the one with just the meat and bread" in this really sarcastic way. It was embarrassing.
I'm sorry but I'd understand more if it was some really obscure request but I find wanting a kebab without salad not that difficult to understand. I feel a language barrier somewhat but the sarcasm etc was completely unnecessary and made the entire meal unenjoyable.
In terms of the actual food, it was OK. The meat was very salty, the sauce watery and it was quite messy to eat because of this. It wasn't terrible, maybe it tasted worse due to me feeling uncomfortable. I wouldn't go back.

Best. Döner. EVER - Edit
Probably my favorite hot dog ("hot frog" it called, so cute) in Berlin. Portions is very big (sausage in hot dog was big as my arm) and everything is really cheap. Pommes is surprisingly delicious too.

Vegan Döner - Edit
Really nice place with yummy fast food, but also the one or other different warm dish. I had a classic Döner with yogurt (soy) and herbs. It was delishes. The meat substitute tasted very different to what I'm used to - normally I get seitan, which is quite soft. At vöner the meat was cross and spicy - very good.

Unfortunately did not enjoy - Edit
I was excited to have vegan döner, and ordered the dürüm wrap. Unfortunately, the wrap was very dry, and I didn’t like the seitan meat. It was too salty for me, and the texture was not great. The sauces were also very plain. So the food gets 2 stars. They definitely have the potential to improve! The restaurant itself is charismatic with friendly staff.

Nice one. - Edit
Nice one if you like fast food. Some of the food is a bit too salty to my taste but this is a recurrent problem in Germany. Nice pastries, super friendly staff and nice music (new wave, post-punk, electronic, etc.)

Cheap vöner - Edit
Good option for a short stop - prices are rather cheap, the food is alright but nothing special (I liked the seitan in my vöner but the vegetables where a bit boring - green salad, onions, tomato and cucumber. The restaurant is not too cosy. Overall, price/performance ratio is alright!
