Nov 1, 2017 message from the restaurant: Vertical Pizza guests and supporters, we regret to inform you that Vertical Pizza located at 2280 South West Temple is now closed. We started this pizza business to share delicious pizza, with high quality, plant based ingredients. We want to continue to serve the offerings at Vertical pizza and are determining where to offer that in the future. This could be a great addition on the menu at one of our sister locations, Sage's Cafe or Vertical Diner. The location has been out of the way for our customer base, and while we think Vertical Pizza would THRIVE in a downtown location, we would like to focus on growing and feeding our visions of Vertical Diner, Sage's Cafe, and Cali's Natural Foods. We have countless cherished memories in this location. Thank you all so much for sticking with us and believing in us! Please know that we VALUE your continued support and feedback -

Best Vegan Pizza

I highly recommend going to vertical pizza if you’re looking to enjoy some quality vegan pizza. There were lots of options on the menu it made it hard to decide what to choose! We ended up choosing the vegan ranch and garlic pizza! It did not disappoint :)

Pros: Lots of variety , Extremely tasty , Vegan cheese was delicious

Cons: One size pizza, A bit expensive

Terrible for delivery

This place ruined our night. We just got back from backpacking in Wyoming to see the eclipse and we're craving a big meal. They use some horrible delivery company with a website from 1995 but we soldiered on and got the order in. Apparently they don't make subs anymore despite the fact that they're both on their website and the delivery company's. The delivery company left us a voicemail about 20 minutes after we placed the order but then didn't contact us again for over an hour, and when we called they said it was our fault for not returning their voicemail. Now it's two hours later and we're starving and still don't have any food on the way.

In short, do not order delivery from them unless they have stopped using FoodToYou. It's their fault for ignoring all of the great delivery apps out there and using some dinosaur.

Cons: FoodToYou Delivery, Inaccurate menu on website

Awesome food

The food is very tasty and everything is vegan, which is awesome if you want dessert after dinner. However, I have to take a star off because they had flies inside the restaurant.

Pros: Food

We love Vertical Pizza!

Our family of four vegans (two under 14) absolutely love Vertical Pizza! The Tiger Wings are exceptionally good, and their pizza varieties are thoughtful and always delicious! We really enjoy their all you can eat pizza and salad Tuesdays 5-10pm, with their dessert pizza offerings being a particular treat. The staff are friendly and helpful and the low key environment is enjoyable. It's so good to be able to get pizza in an exclusively plant based facility.

Pros: Delicious, Chilled atmosphere, Entirely plant based facility

Cons: Need a new sign out front

yum!

Finally a pizza place that doesn't use daiya cheese. I absolutely loved this place. A little tricky to find since we're new to Utah, but so worth it!

Best Vegan Pizza Ever!

We tried the All-You-Can-Eat Pizza and it was amazing! The server kept bringing us delicious, unique, fresh slices of pizza every few minutes. It came with all you can eat salad too. We couldn't pick favorites because we loved them all, including the dessert pizza! It's our family's favorite pizza place now! We're from CA and we can't wait to come back to eat here again ???

Pros: delicious gourmet pizza delivered by slices to you, fresh and plant-based , great price for so much food

Cons: a bit hard to find bc the sign says Vertical Diner

'Za at its best!

This place was great! Server was great! Buffalo Tigers are ridiculously good! And world famous! They split our pizza into 2 specialities no problem! And the beer selection was great, local SLC brews. And 80s music blaring to top it all off! Plus definitely fair prices on everything!

Pros: deliciousness , pizzabilities

Yum :)

I have been to Vertical Pizza a few times since they opened. They have interesting specialty pizzas like a taco pizza, a cheezeburger pizza etc. Their crust is delicious as well. They also offer dessert pizzas, but I havent tried them yet, thought they look good and I plan to. They only make pizzas in one size, a 16", which appears to come out a little inconsistent (2 times my pizza was pretty big then one time it was very tiny). They are currently only open for dinner. Worth checking out, for sure!

Pros: creative toppings, delicious pizza, friendly staff

Cons: price, inconsistency , only offers one size pizza

Delicious pizza in a cute, retro environment.

We went for all-you-can-eat pizza night. Everything is plant based! The pizza was fresh and a great variety was offered. We also tried a salad and yummy local beer. Definitely recommended for plant-based eaters and omni friends alike!

Pros: Atmosphere, Price

Good Pizza in Fun Environment

The Vertical Pizza is in the location previously occupied by Vertical Diner. The Staff are friendly and provide good service. The pizza joint provides a fun old-style surrounding for eating. The food is good, though my pizza was a bit on the dry side. I enjoyed it and I will definitely be back with my vegan friends.

Pros: Fun Environment, Good Menu Choices, Helpful and Friendly Staff, Good Food

Cons: A bit out Of the Way-Maybe that is a Pro?
