Great vegan options - Edit
Many vegan options, especially for a brewery! Unfortunately all the seitan options are not available- unsure if temporary or for good. They have a few different burgers with a plant-based patty similar to Impossible or Beyond meat. The menu is clearly labeled with vegetarian options in green (not sure if that’s vegetarian or vegan). Note that the fry sauce is served even with vegan entrees but has mayonnaise. Friendly staff and beer on tap!

A new favorite - Edit
Clean, modern and chill. The vegan options are very clearly marked with lots of options. The 333 patty melt and fried mushroom were amazing. Great fries and several vegan dipping sauces.

Beer and vegan food. What else can you ask for? Some of the best vegan food in SLC. Seitan is house made and super yummy.

Must Try - Edit
Plenty of vegan options here and I’ve not had anything that disappointed. You can opt for healthier fare or “junkier” fare depending on your preferences and wash it all down with some exceptional beer!

Cons: Could benefit from having an amber beer

Great vegan menu and rooftop space! - Edit
Awesome brewery with great vegan menu! I love how vegan options are the default, with the non-vegan options marked with NV on the menu. There are tons of options, from seitan to Beyond burger, and lots of appetizers, sandwiches, etc. to choose from. They have weekly rotating specials as well. Amazing rooftop space!

Must Try for SLC - Edit
Grid City has incredible vegan food! I ended up getting a seitan sandwich and it was so good, the best seitan I’ve had. The atmosphere was great and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They worked with my food allergies and the chef even came out with (delicious) vegan cheese sauce when I wasn’t able to get the sauce of my choice due to allergies. Their atmosphere is perfect for meeting up with friends and they have a great drinks menu.

Vegan Owned/Vegan Default! - Edit
Grid City is an awesome vegan owned pub and restaurant that was built on the idea that all the dishes and sauces would be vegan by default and meat eaters could elect other options. What does this mean? Substantial vegan options, tons of vegan condiments, and a very vegan friendly staff!
Read moreWe have been to Grid City multiple times and have loved everything. A few stand outs are the "fish" and chips, fried green tomatoes, and fried seitan sandwich. As for condiments, the fry sauce, tarter sauce, and cheese sauce are all vegan! There are just a few condiments not vegan, such as the blue cheese. These are clearly marked.
Due to Covid, we have always done carry out at Grid City. However, they were one of the first restaurants in the area to install hospital quality UV HVAC system and a variety of other safety measures. They have also recently opened up an outdoor rooftop space.
Grid City has impressed us several times and we highly recommend checking it out.
Pros: Vegan owned, Substantial vegan options, including sauces, Knowledgable staff

Vegan in SLC? Go here! - Edit
Mostly vegan! Instead of having vegan options labeled as “vegan” on the menu, they have some items labeled as “not vegan (nv),” and the rest is obviously vegan. Their vegan Bavarian pretzel is to die for, as well as their sauces (all vegan). I even got their vegan wings as well. SO GOOD! Their chef is vegan. And one of the owners is vegan. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Next time I’m in SLC, I’m coming here!
