Accommodating and tasty - Edit
Still tourist friendly outside of the circle. Chill / cute atmosphere. Tap pay option. We each got a starter and a main drinks. Easy access from bus line. Tasty and balanced menu ; hardy to fresh.

Forced to eat on the counter, even with reservation - Edit
I made a reservation explaining that I would come with my dog. When I arrived they informed me that I could only eat at the counter, right next to the outside door. It was very uncomfortable staying with my dog there while I was sitting on a tall bench and with people all the time coming and exiting from the door, either making my dog get scared or wanting to per her all the time.

Nice vegan place in Brussels - Edit
I really enjoyed this vegan restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the food is full of flavor. The beet tartare was especially tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Desserts are definitely a highlight — rich, creative, and absolutely delicious. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the high side, but overall it’s worth it for the quality and experience

Delicious! - Edit
We had the sharing dishes as starters; the mini vegetable croquettes were very tasty, the artichoke dip was not too special but good (some more breadsticks would have been nice though).
Read moreAs a main course we had the tartare; it wasn't mentioned on the menu but it is made from beetroot so you've got to be a fan of that, and the stuffed aubergine which was a delicious, Middle-Eastern style dish.
The dessert was a slice of 'Snickers' cake which was also very good!
Very friendly service and a nice, stylish location! Would definitely come back :)

A bit disappointing food - Edit
I went on weekday evening with a non vegan colleague - he enjoyed his lasagne but I was underwhelmed by the seitan plate which was piled with (not very good) frites and a small corner of salad. No creativity and personally I’d rather have a lot less frites and more salad of vegetables.

Here and there - Edit
I've been here twice. It has its hits and its misses. The most recent time, the highlights certainly came at the start. The rum mocktail is very good; woody, dark caramel, bright lime, a magnet for wasps and me. The roasted fig was also gorgeous, tender, salty capers, creamy pine nuts, sweet and sour balsamic reduction and a lively burst of green parsley. The rest is more middling. The menu advertised a seitan steak, but what arrived bore no resemblance to seitan nor steak and was actually more like fried paté or perhaps even stuffing. It had sunflower seeds in it. I'm not sure how that's supposed to help. Seitan (and steak, certainly seitan steak) should have some tension to it, some balance between chewiness and softness, pulling apart and trying to remain intact. This barely stuck together on the plate, let alone the fork. I also can't get along with the chips. Make your own, it's very easy and your customers will be much happier. The pepper sauce was very successful however. Dessert left something to be desired. The pastry seems stale, and was mostly air. The raspberries had just come out of a very cold fridge. They should never be served like that, unless the dish calls for them to be frozen, which it clearly doesn't in this case. I admire the aspirations of this restaurant, and in some cases they've made it. A colonial sausage dish I tried here a year or two ago was very successful. But they need to match effort with aspirations, and it's not quite there yet. It costs €70 for one person. That's a bit steep for what's offered. Nonetheless I didn't feel ripped off, and actually enjoyed the experience on the whole. Perhaps I just love Brussels too much.

Great for vegan fine dining - Edit
A great place if you want to bring non-vegans to discover the world of vegan fine dining - they will be impressed! We had the tartare and it was quite close to the real thing, also very delicious.

We walked in and had to sit at the bar and the sunset blinded us for our whole dinner. But the food was amazing!
The staff wasn’t super attentive or friendly so the service was quite slow.
Pros: Varied menu, Extremely fresh and bright
Cons: Staff could be friendlier , Slow service, Blinding sunset if you sit at the bar

Best in Brussels - Edit
I think this is the best vegan restaurant in Brussels. The food is so well thought out and the taste is amazing. It’s on the pricier side, but it’s worth it. Love that the menu changes every month too so there’s always new things to try!

Hoped for better - Edit
Considering how highly rated this place is, I had high expectations. Had the croquettes to start, which were not bad. Had the mushroom lasagna - again it was fine, but felt like it was missing an ingredient that would’ve made it special. The crème Brûlée was disappointing - not a brûlée or a strong flavour. Service was a bit off too - maybe it was just an off night, but left feeling disappointed.
