Eating here made my entire day so much better. - Edit
I had a Reuben sandwich, and it was the best I've even had. So much flavor. The service was so friendly. I felt I had been welcomed into someone's home. Oh, and they serve their carrot cake warm. So good.

Taste of the south without animal products. Had the soul food plate - which was excellent. And then came back for more. My friend said the yams were the best she ever had. After watching my meat eating friends have their bbq, was nice to support a local business giving us good tasting, all vegan grub. Weather was nice so I sat outside at the picnic tables under the tent.

I ordered from this restaurant to be delivered and it was an hour and a half wait which was fine but when I would try to call the restaurant to get an update they never answered. Finally the food arrived later than they said it would and it seems like it had been sitting out for a long time. The seitan cheese sandwich was soggy and disgusting. The barbecue chicken special meal was good. The best thing was the macaroni and cheese. I ordered a bottle of water with a meal and didn’t receive it. I asked for the sauces to be on the side for the BLT since I was going to be eating it the next day and didn’t want it to get soggy but they put the sauces right on it. Lastly, the cake was gross. I ended up throwing out almost all of it. Maybe it’s better if you eat in the restaurant, but I would advise against ordering delivery.

I had the Soul Food Plate. Was very good. The menu looks suitable for sharing. Ended up paying quite a bit for extra chicken but I don't regret it.

Best Cheesecake Ever - Edit
We went for a concert and door dashed this beauty. I had a Philly cheese steak, side of mac and cheese and a slice of cheesecake. I gave an intolerance to soy protein and was fine. Thank you! We will be back!

Family run business with a small indoor seating area and a much larger outdoor area. Nothing fancy, but just real good southern vegan food. Had the bbq chicken poboy, soulfood plate and the blueberry bread pudding. Everything was super delicious. Wish it stayed open longer than 7 PM

Best Vegan Soul Food Ever - Edit
This was a great introduction to soul food. I got the barbecue chick with collards and yams. We also got a side of barbecue tofu and my daughter got the fried chick plate. Everything was beyond delicious and we almost licked our plates clean. It's a little hole in the wall restaurant and it is worth a visit.

We had a wonderful dinner here before our show at the Grand Ol Opry. We ordered the V-licious burger, the Soul Chic Plate, and the kale salad which were all delicious. The server was very friendly and personable. Would definitely go again!

The food was delicious, and they had several options. I love that they are a vegan restaurant. I've had the Philly cheesesteak, a soul food chik plate, their home fries, barbecue tofu, and some other dishes. I've enjoyed everything I've had there. Occasionally they'll leave something off of my to go orders...probably because I'm ordering too many items. Haha. Would highly recommend!!

I don’t understand how this is this a 5 star restaurant, but it’s a shack that serves comfort food that’s reliant on carbs and mediocre, almost flavorless, food. If it wasn’t for their hot sauce, I’d might have fallen asleep from flavor boredom. The best thing on their soul plate was the side sauce.

Ginger beer and strawberry cake were oh so good surprises. My Reuben was the best I've had in life, hands down. Portion size excellent. Wonderful yams, great fries, good greens. Chikn was fun/tasty. I ate like a pig but loved every minute...oops forgot to mention my yummy bread pudding--with ice cream!!

I had a great Reuben here. The combination of sauces was exceptionally tasty and the marble rye was very fresh. Finished with a large portion of delicious strawberry cake, made by the proprietor who was very nice.
