Best food in Nashville PERIOD! - Edit
The Mac n cheese is the best you can find in the city. If you're thinking about getting dessert DO IT. we got the carrot cake and blueberry bread pudding and omg both were warm and delicious. The dining room is cozy and when we were there inviting r&b was playing. I really loved everything we ordered and was sad that my stomach wasn't bigger because I wanted to try one of everything! The pancakes are to die for as well. I really enjoyed the food and the sweet staff that helped us figure out what we wanted. 11/10 a #1 must go Nashville resturant.

I had the original soul chick plate with yams & it was so good! The mac & cheese was my favorite part, but everything was delicious. You couldn’t ask for friendlier service. This place is an absolute gem! I was just sad I ran out of room for dessert because the whole dessert menu was calling to me. I will definitely be back!

The welcoming attitude is just as lovely as the food! All vegan menu including soul food platter. Brunch served Saturdays. Coffee came with soy milk and brown sugar. Don’t miss the blueberry bread pudding!

Best Vegan Soul Food Evah! - Edit
I enjoyed brunch at Vegelicious in Antioch for the first time today with several vegan friends. It was fabulous! We ordered as many different things as we had the room for to sample various things: Soul Food Chik'n plate, Peach pancakes, BBQ chikn wrap, cheezy tater tots with black eyed pea salsa, tofu scramble, sausage, grits, pineapple cake and cheez cake. Every crumb of this delicious vegan feast was consumed! The environment was bright and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was wonderful. Even though we have a 20 minute drive to get there, we will be back...and often!!!

This hurts my heart to write this but my meal was terrible! I ordered the SoulChik Plate Hot, chocolate cheesecake, and the V-Licious Taters via DoorDash. The Soulchik plate was supposed to come with chicken, home fries, Mac & cheese, collard greens, and a roll. The roll and macaroni was omitted intentionally I believe as I had yams instead. I wish they would have told me they were out of Mac because I would have ordered something completely different.
Read moreThe best item on the plate by far was the chicken. It was spicy and had good texture. The Yams were good too. The greens, however, were absolutely flavorless. Literally zero flavor. I couldn’t believe it! The taters were super soggy and mushy. This is not because of delivery either because my order came quickly and everything was hot. So after an unfortunate dinner I thought maybe dessert could turn things around. Nope! I ordered chocolate cheesecake and that wasn’t good either and extremely small.
This was an unfavorable experience being my first time in Nashville. I plan to hit The Southern V tomorrow and I hope I’m not let down.

If the other reviews weren't a good enough indicator, this is one of the best veg places in all of Nashville. I got a hot chicken sandwich ("chicken" = flavored soy curls) and it was great! The bread it was served on was amazing too. Definitely go here!

I’ve eaten here lots of times because there just aren’t a lot of vegan places in Nashville that are halfway decent. Some of the options are okay like the gyro or the lasagna but, again, it is just okay. I wouldn’t take a friend here if I was trying to impress them with Nashville vegan food. This is the kind of place you order from because nothing else is open and you’re too lazy to cook.

I ordered the soul food plate. I felt that it was lacking in flavor so if I visited again I would order something else. I do like that the menu has a variety of options and is reasonably priced. Overall, a good vegan black owned option in Nashville.

I had a Reuben sandwich, and it was the best I've even had. So much flavor. The service was so friendly. I felt I had been welcomed into someone's home. Oh, and they serve their carrot cake warm. So good.

The food is absolutely incredible. I’ve been disappointed by so many places, but the food here really hits the spot for me. The people here are what sets this place on a higher level. It is a very small facility, without much indoor handicap accessibility. My (meat eating) father is handicap and they helped us carry him in and out so he could enjoy the food. My dad is a picky eater when it comes to vegan and he enjoyed his meal as well. Found this gem while moving my parents down south. It will be a restaurant we plan to visit every single time we make the drive.

A fully-vegan restaurant serving a full menu of comfort food classics. I tried the hot chicken, friend chicken, the Philly, and a couple of sides. Everything was very good, but the entrees were the star. I would go out of my way to come back. The location is a bit strange and it doesn’t look much like a restaurant, but that’s kinda par-for-the-course with vegan restaurants.

By far some of the best fried “chicken” I’ve ever had, and I have had a lot. It replicates the flaky, seasoned batter so well. The spicy chicken is also great. Love getting to try southern comfort food veganized!
