Homestyle Vegan Fare - Edit
Original plant-based-whole-food fare served up in family fashion with a smile and a sense of humor. I had the seitan-based Rubin, the lasagna, and a side of sweet potato. Unlike other restaurants that recycle the same ingredients to produce 'different' dishes, each of these plates had an original look, feel, and taste. The spices used in the Rubin melded together to take the taste to the next level. And the home-made seitan was delicious. The tomato sauce in the lasagna was so tasty I could have taken a jar of it home and eaten it as a hearty soup. I appreciated the abundant spinach and the texture-perfect 'cheese.' Although exceedingly sweet, the cinnamon sweet potato served as the perfect dessert. The food was generally slightly greasy, but I recommend this hidden emerald gem (well, the faux wood siding was more of a pea color, but don't judge a book by its cover!).

Best place I ate while in Nashville!! Got the hot chicken soul plate and bread pudding with ice cream and would highly recommend both. The building was super cute and clean, both inside and outdoors!!

Perfect homey vegan soul food - Edit
Cozy spot with covered outdoor seating and amazing grub (there's a small indoor seating area as well, for those burning hot summer days). I had the soul food plate, which was as delicious as they get. It tasted like a great home cooked meal. Service was spot on, too. Plenty of options on the menu including vegan Philly cheese steak. Highly recommended!

This spot is amazing! The service is great- everyone is fast and friendly. They have a small eating area inside but the outdoor space is perfect for a sunny day. They have vegan versions of all of the soul food you want while in Nashville. The Mac and cheese, yams, and lasagna were so good. I could eat here everyday!

Unassuming little place. Looks like outdoor seating would be pleasant on a less windy day than we had. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had the Reuben and fries, which were both delicious. Hubby had the Hot Chicken Soul plate. He wasn’t wowed, but it looked like pure comfort food! Sorrel drink was delicious too.

My Southern gramma was spinning in her grave that these vegan greens were so good! I highly recommend the Hot Chik'n plate so you get a taste of all this goodness. Save room for cheesecake as theirs is top notch. Will def be back!

A haven for a southern thunderstorm - Edit
Vegelicious saved the day when we called in to the wrong location, while we were 30 minutes away from the Nashville restaurant. We were on foot and hauling through the rain, and our order was accepted over 12 miles away. We arrived at the Nashville location 5 minutes after close and they didn’t have our order, but they didn’t even hesitate to fix us up with the best sandwiches my buddies and I have had in years, and within minutes. If you are looking for amazing vegan food in Nashville, this spot is a must for everyone, and will leave you more than satisfied. We all had the hot chicken sandwich and it was an intense experience!

I loved their Philly and their hot chick sandwich is also very good and I love that I could add good collard greens as a side.. Their V-Licious Taters had such a great black bean salsa too. I also really enjoyed the ginger beer. It has fresh grated ginger and a lot of it. I will definitely be back again.

WOW! This place is no joke soul food. I had the Soul Plate with the hot fried soy curls and let me just say, it was so good that I went twice within 24 hours. The plate is packed with flavor and nutrients. Greens! Creamy Mac! Yams! Home Fries! Soy Curls! Dinner Roll! Ohhhhhh yes, and that ranch! Their ranch may just be the best ranch I have ever had. Be sure to get an extra side of it. The Strawberry Cake is a MUST! We got a slice each day we went, and legit the cake was still hot when we got back to our hotel.

There are four little tables inside and a bigger tent outside for dining. Many people do carry out.
10/10 recommend this spot while in Nashville. I already can't wait to come back and get more!

Vegelicious is a small cafe in a converted residence, though there’s ample space to eat outdoors when it’s warmer. We ordered a variety of dishes and were thrilled with all of them. The food, though delicious and filling, was not too heavy. We followed our meal with the best vegan cheesecake we have ever eaten.

Don’t judge by the cover! This is tucked in back road of a neighborhood and is like sitting down for dinner at a friends home. Inside seating is extremely limited (approximately 20’ x 10’), but they also have an outside tent. Looks like they do a lot of takeout too.

Sweet server who obviously believed in the food and the lifestyle of eating as a vegan. A little more salty then I like (I cook with very little salt), but didn’t stop my husband and I from clearing our plates. Just like our mothers taught us!
