The BEST Ramen I’ve ever had! - Edit
All I can say is if you like Ramen do not miss this amazing fully vegan restaurant. Make sure you take the elevator up to the second floor. The flavors were so tasty, the noodles were really good and the broth was so rich with flavor. Highly recommend!

Great Ramen - Edit
Food was really good - we had two of the ramen options and both were delicious. To enter you need to go up one floor. Quick service, atmosphere is good. We got there just before the lunch rush and as we were leaving there was already a queue, so maybe a good idea to arrive early if you don’t want to wait too long, it’s deservedly popular! Highly recommended if you’re anywhere near the area and looking for a proper vegan place.

Imperdible - Edit
Exquisito ramen vegano, estilo bien japonés. Si estas por Harajuku, tenes que venir a Bistro Jangara. Tienen opciones sin ajo y sin cebolla. Recomendado!

I had their Juju grill with miso and also got to try the Karaage and fries. Loved all three, nice spot away from the busy streets around, friendly helpful staff, and wide range of items!

Delicious Ramen in Tokyo! - Edit
Very cool place in Tokyo to get Vegan ramen. They do a lot of other foods, but this seemed to be the specialty there. I got the Karabon because I like spicy. It was a good amount of spice if you like that. I would say a 7 on a 1-10 scale of heat. 4 on a scale of 1-5. It was delicious though. My wife got the Kobonshan because she loves garlic and it has garlic oil. The place was nice, located on the second floor off of a building off the main street. It was across from the Shinjuku train station and easy to get to. Highly recommend!

Delicious - Edit
Both of our dishes were layered and vibrant in seasonings, and their vegan cheese is so creamy. Highly recommend the dishes we ordered, although i'm sure every dish is ace.

A must visit for vegans - Edit
I ate the non-oil Kyoto Keiran style noodles without pungents (no garlic, onion etc). It was yummy, but I was hoping for more yuba.

Good Healthy Food - Edit
Had trouble finding this place, I don't know why but all restaurants I've visited required the use of an elevator in some way and I'm not used to it I guess. After taking an elevator we had to wait in line a bit but could scan a QR-code to see the menu and make our choices, that way we could get helped as soon as we sat down!
Read moreStaff was nice and showed us our seats after some were freed up, immediately got to order and the food arrived not much later. We ordered the juju grill and the vegan karabon.
The presentation of the juju grill was really cool, as they brought the crackling hot plate to the table the waiter doused it in the sauce of choice (soy or miso) and it coated the soy pieces nicely, the karabon however was really spicy, I thought Japanese spice level was low, but this one had a real kick to it (didn't stop me from finishing it though!).
Really cool place, chill atmosphere, you can look into the kitchen and are seated at a long table with plastic dividers. Price of the food was okay, definitely worth it for the quality and flavour!
Pros: Good Healthy Food, Nice atmosphere, Good drinks

BEST VEGAN RAMEN IN TOKYO - Edit
Whole menu of multiple vegan options and desserts including Mexican, Japanese and American food options. I had the korabon ramen and it was so so so delicious one of the best one I’ve had in Japan and I’ve been here three weeks ! A lot of reviews say it’s too spicy but for me it wasn’t spicy just delicious just order according to your spice tolerance. Chef was also lovely and made adjustments for us.

Wonderful food!! - Edit
This place had hands down the spiciest Ramen I had throughout my trip to Japan and it was filled with so many great toppings! The gyoza & salad that came with was also delicious. All of this food paired really well with the ginger / apple house made soda I got as well.

Super salad! - Edit
This restaurant has great food and is an oasis of calm in busy Harajuku. There were many choices - all vegan. I had a super salad and some kind of delicious soy chicken nuggets. The atmosphere inside was relaxed and very welcome on a hot summer day. There are signs at street level to help you find the elevator. Highly recommended.

Just ok - Edit
Close to the Meiji-jingu shrine (Harajuku exit side), this small eatery offers Ramen and curries. I tried the one most HC reviewers recommended (the Kobashan). My companion and I both found it to be too oily and a bit bland. The gyoza was just ok too. I don't remember there being a lot of other vegan places in proximity and we were hungry, so it did the job, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Cons: Bland & oily, Overpriced for value
