Headed over for lunch after a late night and good sleep. The outside looks great with big glass windows smack bang opposite the national museum.
Read moreQuite a queue of people on their lunch breaks . There were 3 x meals one could choose at one price or you can just freestyle it and mix and match.
I ran with the meal deal and had vegetable soup with a main of cabbage wrapped breaded vegan sausage creation on a bed of borscht. Everything was totally ace & scrumptious.
The set up is brilliant from display,to pay,to amazing wraparound the supporting column stairs to the mezzanine, to the toilets.
The future is vegan 🌱

Buffet style restaurant in the city centre. Daily changing menu, soups, main dishes, salads and desserts. We had kebab plate and fried seitan with pea rice, I recommend both dishes.

We absolutedly enjoyed our meal since we had various options to choose. The place was big and by 1 p.m a lot of people were getting in and out. The price was reasonable, too!

Had Pad Thai with a side breaded aubergine. The pad thai was gloopy and salty and nothing special, the aubergine was soft and very salty in places. The sausage wasn’t pleasant.

I was looking forward to this place. The pictures looked so nice on the internet. As it was a hop away from my hotel I thought I will be here every meal.
Read moreAs it was closed at the weekends I was there Monday afternoon. Maybe it was outside of the normal eating hours in Budapest, because the food (presented like in a canteen) was very cold and felt like campus cafeteria food from the university... I guess if it would have been warm, it would have tasted okish.
The staff was nice and spoke English. There was vegan dessert and some choices.

It's a good option for a quick weekday lunch, they have lots of options and you get your food right away. It is not the most flavourful food that I have ever tasted, but it is certainly not bad. The staff is really friendly.

I paid under £7 for a curry, side of breaded cauliflower, a cherry cake and a drink. So it is very reasonably priced. However, the curry was totally tasteless, the poppadom I came with honestly had more flavour, it was supposed to be a tofu Thai green but also included sprouts?! Cauliflower was tasty but a bit cold and greasey as you might expect from a buffet. The cake and pineapple soda tasty tho

Buffet-style vegan food (though you don't help yourself, you choose what you want, how much you want of it, and get served). The food is weighed and priced (good prices). Quite a few options.
Read moreI wanted a burger but without cucumber (as have an allergy/intolerance to) and they couldn't make a fresh one up, which was disappointing. I choose the potato wedges and nuggets instead, and a small bowl of lentil soup. The soup was good, well-flavoured, but the nuggets weren't to my liking and the wedges were a bit soggy and oily.
A little note to bear in mind if you have disability is that the toilet is upstairs. This was quite awkward for me.

Cons: Toilets upstairs, which difficult (disabled), Food oily , Couldn't make fresh burger/inflexible food choices

Healthy, fresh and tasty - Edit
This is a very bright and well located restaurant. For a buffet the food was very fresh and flavourful. However, I wish some dishes had been warmer (such as the breaded veggies or "shrimp" that were a bit soggy at room temperature. I didn't try the deserts but didn't see ice cream.

Nice food, amazing location! - Edit
I really like the location of this place, very central and easy to access. They have a huge variety of options, so it's always difficult to choose. The food is usually good, however, I have had a few bad experiences here as well (such as the food being overly salty, or the cake I once had with an absolutely undercooked dough), but yes, more often than not I leave the place satisfied and happy.
