Purely Decadent - Edit
I bought chcolate Van Leeuwen ice cream for the first time last night. I brought it home for my whole family to try. It was creamy and decadent. My parents didn't know it was vegan. Shh.

The Best but It's Pricey - Edit
Their vegan ice creams (also sold at some health food stores in New York) are amazing and probably the best in New York!
They have amazing flavors like dark chocolate, banana walnut and recently cookie dough.
The only negative is the price, but every once it's worth it to splurge on this ice cream.

Vegan Ice Cream! - Edit
Van Leeuwen is an ice cream parlor with several locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and an ice cream truck! They have vegan flavors. All of their vegan ice creams are made with nuts. They have many flavors with milk, and several vegan versions of the same flavors. I recently had an awesome cone with a scoop of dark chocolate and a scoop of pistachio. This establishment, however, charges $0.50 extra for vegan. My two scoop cone was $6.00. Yum!
