If I could give it 5 stars, I would!

Clearly stated vegan options on menu, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, but most of all delicious food! Visited twice on a recent trip to Windermere, had the vegan aubergine parmigiana and the vegan calzone, both were fresh and tasty with good portion sizes. Had vegan chocolate cake for dessert, which was also lovely! Can be busy even in the week, but on the second visit, sat outside and enjoyed the provided blankets!

Pros: Delicious vegan options, clearly listed on menu , Friendly staff , Good value for money

Cons: Can be busy-but for good reason!

Very nice food

The food here is good. The bread and olives are good, the Vegetable Risotto is also nice, but the Penne Arabbiatta is the best.

Lots of options

No vegan menu but it is clear what can be made vegan and what cannot.
We ordered a pizza and a baked gnocci.
They are generous with their servings of vegan cheese and pizza toppings.
The food was delicious and the staff friendly.

Lots of vegan options

This was by far the best Italian for vegan options including one on the chefs specials menu. Food was delicious and portions were large. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a lovely vibe.

Pros: Great food, Great service, Knowledgeable staff

Delicious Food

The menu isn’t clearly marked, but one dish offered vegan cheese so I knew they would have it. Had to double check my order went through as vegan, but I had the spaghetti AOP and vegan garlic cheese bread, so, so good!!

Gorgeous food and quick service

Lovely little Italian restaurant with loads of vegan options and items which can be made vegan on request, so do let your server know that you are vegan.

To start, we got the cheese and tomato garlic bread which used a lovely vegan cheese that wasn’t too overpowering and also the bruschetta. Both starters were absolutely lovely!

For my main I got the gnocchi al forno which was topped with vegan cheese and contained roasted vegetables and a tomato sauce. It was so delicious! I only managed to finish half because the starters filled me up so I got half to take home. Omni partner was also very happy with his meal so good choices for all.

The service was lovely, we arrived absolutely starving so were very happy to get 2 courses to the table within about 15-20 minutes!

*I would have given this 5 stars but HappyCow won’t let me due to it not being a fully vegan/veg restaurant*

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Quick service, Delicious food

Wonderful Italian Restaurant with multiple vegan choices.

We managed to get a table for two without booking, which was ever so fortunate as we were then witness to more than a dozen people being turned away without reservations.

Its a cosy little restaurant of around 20 seats, featuring an open kitchen & knowledgeable manager.

After having a brief chat with our waiter, whom I assumed was also the manager, we were spoilt for choice, not only did he make great recommendations, but also steered us away from some options that he felt didn't taste so good with the substitution of vegan cheese (even though he likes vegan cheese).

Having tasted the soup, the stew, the gnocchi & the garlic pizza (all vegan) I would say you'd be hard tasked to find something that isn't delicious.

I would definitely recommend & I will be visiting again in the future.

Pros: Multiple Vegan Options, Vegetarian Options Can Be Made Vegan, Friendly

Cons: Reservation Advised

Decent food

Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and marked where vegetarian food could be made vegan. This included pasta, pizza and calzone.
I had the vegan gnocchi and it was huge! Very filling and overall tasty, but very oily.
Also had garlic pizza base which was vegan- the menu offered options to have it with cheese, and this could be vegan cheese.
My boyfriend (non veggie) had an appetiser with bread which unfortunately had mold on it, so not too happy about that.
Alcohol was not marked as vegetarian or vegan.
Atmosphere was nice and staff friendly.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, Large portions, Affordable

Lots of choices

Beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. I felt spoilt for choice here, a rarity amongst Italian restaurants!
The baked gnocchi was really tasty, highly recommend it as long as you're a vegan cheese fan!
The tomato and chilli garlic bread was fab too, but very spicy so be aware!

Pros: Lots of options

Great find for vegan food.

Very friendly staff who were happy to help. We didn’t book but the manager was happy to squeeze us in. I’d not seen this menu online before coming but after been turned away by other restaurants we finally got in here. The menu was great and had a wide range of options. The first time in Bowness where I’ve have to choose between a few options.

Pros: Lots of vegan choice, Very friendly staff, Great food
