Good staff but expensive foods and drinks

Although vegan dishes were tasty, dishes and drinks are extremely expensive (0.70 liter water 15 TL). Staff were pretty helpful. Sunday and Tuesday evenings there are live music in here. Musicians Merve and Batu were very nice!

Cons: Extremely expensive

Loved it!

We went to the junction for lunch and had a lovely time - really pretty place, friendly staff and yummy veggie food with amazing smoothies/drink options. Even the meat eater amongst us loved the vegan burrito!

No vegan options anymore

The junction has a new owner now and I went the other night asked if they have any vegan options still and they gave me the old menu, I asked for 3 separate dishes to be told none are available anymore and ended up with some grilled vegetables. Used to be an amazing place but gone way downhill now sorry guys

Cons: Location, New management, no vegan

Happy to have vegan options in Kalkan

I’m so glad there was a place we could rely on for vegan options while in Kalkan because eating stewed veggies and gozleme was getting so boring however the junction could do better. Our first visit we were completely disappointed with the vegan burger, it was bland, and the Mexican burrito, small and loaded with hot peppers, but we decided to give it another go. The next time we had a salad, the samosas, falafel plate, and the vegetable wok. These options were much better. The salad was quite small, samosas were our fav, and the wok and falafel plates were good. I would suggest they improve their bun for the burger and the burger recipe itself. Also, if you add any toppings it gets super expensive. I would also suggest tortilla chips and a homemade salsa or guacamole with the burrito. It would be awesome if they could include tofu with the wok but understand that may be hard to source in turkey so maybe just edamame beans? Cool place to hang out and meet like minded people.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Cool place

Cons: Food is just okay, kind of bland, A little pricey

Terrible breakfast

I am so sad to write this as I always try to help out vegan restaurants but this place was terrible for breakfast. I won’t be coming back for lunch or dinner it was that bad. It’s like they just put on basic food ideas on one plate for a vegan. No thought or love for the food. Hard avocados. The food was so bland. My husband didn’t enjoy his vegetarian omelette either. I would rather drive to Kas for vegan food at Oburus Momus. I wouldn’t give it 1 star but I can’t review it without a star.

Cons: Hard avacado, No seasoning, Flavourless

Fabulous place for vegan’s and vegetarians alike

I discovered The Junction this year through a friend. It has a great atmosphere, very friendly and relaxed and the decor is stunning with a very alternative, recycled edge to it.
Although they do serve meat and fish dishes their vegan and veggie options are second to none in Kalkan! We went about 7 times over the course of 10 days. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner plus fantastic smoothies and cocktails, all freshly prepared. The coffee is great and they have various milk substitutes. They seem to really understand veganism as opposed to just using it go market their restaurant. We will definitely be going back next year

Pros: Great vegan snd veggie food, Fresh coffee and smoothies, Wonderful decor and stmosphere

Cons: It’s a bit of a hike up the hill but well worth it
