Peace

We loved this place. Their philosophy and what they stand for (Vegan against h/l/t-phobia!!! Pizza rolls not gender roles!!!), their obsession with Harry Potter (you can park your groom!)... We also loved the food and drinks (like cappuccino with Oatly) AND the relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent vegan comfort and junk food at a great location!

It is an excellent place, vegan food and lovely staff.

The food is all vegan, so you don't have to worry about that, because they are pretty specialized in making things that come pretty close to what people are used to eating as non-vegan in fast food for example.

This applies to all kinds of burgers, nachos, vol-au-vent..... and some delicious desserts.

It's a great experience to taste what they are all capable to make, of being vegan.

Now the planned food-based alternatives of something that people used to know otherwise, are not really my kind of thing, now I really enjoyed the experience and tasting it.

I go there to show people the opportunity and also with the children to give them the alternative experience.

Nice place for lunch, coffee/dessert afternoon or dinner, and if you're new to vegan and visiting Brussels, highly recommended!

I provided them with the HC sticker.

There is also a small shop and a second-hand clothes shop.

Pros: Nice place, Excellent vegan comfort food, Lovely staff

Cons: None

I love that place and what they do

I don’t know how to say about this place. I saw that people complaining about that not healthy food. They never say they are an healthy restaurant.
I went there two times in my two day trip in Brussels. They made what I call « confort food » and they do it perfectly!
The Mac&Cheese, burgers, croque monsieur, pastries, everything is really good. The room is just perfect to chill, i felt confortable. The staff is so kind! And they are engaged in many causes that I support to, so this is a 10/10 for me. They inspire me a lot !

Pros: Confort food , Good atmosphere , Low price

Good burger in a nice place

One of the only vegan places on the city, right next to the Palais de Justice. Serves hamburgers, coffee, cakes and brunch. I had a good tofu burger that would have been excellent if it would have something on the side. The place is cozy and nice and service was excellent.

Pros: Nice place, Big portions, Enough flavour

Cons: Hamburger had no side dish

Good but somewhat disappointing

We needed a place like this in Brussels, that's all vegan, offers cakes, brunch & burgers with lots of seating. But somehow the food and the choice doesn't fully live up to the expectations. It's good, but not great. Staff is super nice, events they throw are really cool and the cakes are very tasty. Brunch is fine, a large selection but nothing you couldn't make yourself. The burger patties are good, but they don't serve french fries and the buns are always cold, don't know why. No alcohol, cool sofas & music. I've been many times and will likely return to support the cause and because we don't have that many options in Brussels but I feel like it could be better.

Pros: All vegan, Tasty cakes

Cons: Ok food

Okay food, tasty cakes

This place is what it is - if you don't go expecting fresh/healthy food, it's quite alright. That is: they have croques and burgers which are all completely made of industrialised products, with very little veggies, so not very healthy, and the taste is just okay. What I do really like about this place though are the cakes! I've had several different ones and they were all pretty tasty! The brunch is nice too, you get a lot of food and it's nice and varied.

To sum: I like the ambiance and concept, but wish they would step up with the food - they could continue making "comfort food" (mac and cheese, burgers, etc) but if they used fresh ingredients, it would make a real difference.

Pros: Nice space, Tasty cakes

Cons: Not fresh, Too industrialised

Good local beers.
Antispeciesist and feminist place.

One of the best vegan places in Brussels!

This place is really relaxed in a home cooking kind of way. The staff are really friendly and there is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The food is great and the cheesus burger is unlike any vegan burger I’ve tried before, kind of like a fried patty with gooey cheese inside. I’d say give the nachos a go, it’s a huge portion with plenty of toppings!

Pros: Welcoming vibe in the store , Lots of seating

Want to wait forever for rather inedible food?

Ordered a croque off the menu (these account for half the menu) and was told there were none available on Saturdays. Why? No clue. Ordered a burger, mac and cheese, and chocolate cake. Got the cake first, which was bone dry, stale, inedible. Waited at least 45 minutes for the burger, which was nothing more than a blob of mush on a hard bun. I’m sorry to leave a bad review for a vegan place, but was even sorrier to spend WAY too much of my precious time in Brussels waiting for extremely sub-par food that makes veganism look (and taste) bad. Skip it! Cute name, though. Trying to give one star but the app won’t let me ....

Pros: Vegan, Friendly people

Cons: Very slow service (45 minutes after ordering), Mushy burgers; inedibly dry cake , Half the menu was “not available”

The Cheesus Burger is my new religion

It’s gooey, stretchy, and warm. I literally am debating coming back every night for it. (There aren’t many vegan places in Brussels)

Pros: Friendly staff, Speak English, Games to play while you wait!

Cons: Limited menu

Super Cozy—Extra Tasty

Awesome vegan restaurant and non alcoholic bar. Very spacious and cozy. Delicious, mostly homemade food and drinks. And if that wasn't enough, the owners/staff are super cool and friendly. Try it—you won't regret it!

Pros: 100% vegan, 100% delicious, 100 % awesome

Cons: Too far from where I live

in a pinch.

a lovely space with oily bland food. we had mac and cheese, the forestiere burger and a hot dog croque. this is not health food and it barely comforted so...what is it? it’s semi-creative home cooking, with no regard to fat content or nutrition. the burger was made of mushroom and tofu so it’s mushy and crumbly, i get that. desserts looked old and appetizing, so we passed. coffee was very tasty. in a space that looks like it’s a children’s pre-school when it’s not a restaurant. i’d try it one more time hoping for better the second go around.

Pros: lots of indoor seating, outdoor seating too, peaceful if not serious service. not unfriendly

Cons: bland, oily, subtly flavored, messy behind the counter, is someone living here part time??

Mostly great

Had a toasted sandwich with sausages and onion. It was really yummy but if you're hungry get the double, not the single. I also had cheesecake which was alright, but super lumpy and the brownie base was really hard. The staff were really helpful and it is such a chilled place to hang out!

Pros: so many choices, good price

Nice place, good burger

I went to the Judgy Vegan and got a a burger and an orange juice. The burger was very big and really good, one of the best I've ever had. Definitely check this place out! It also has lots of options, including cakes, and the place is really nice, also to relax while reading a book or with friends. Highly recommended!

Pros: Lots of options, Tasty food, Nice place

Untasty food

The food was not good, the burger had no taste, just one lettuce leaf and mushrooms overcooked. Too many oil. You can go to a supermarket and make something better for less price

Pros: Good location

Cons: Food is not tasty, Not many options

vegan brunch extravagance

This place is amazing! If you are in Brussels this is a must visit.

The owners are so welcoming and friendly. They decorated the place with a twist by using slogans for example. As it's a calm side street it's nice to sit outside on the terrace.

We ordered a brunch for the both of us and got some options to choose from. The food was delicious. But there was so much!! I can normally eat quite much but I had to give in and get out my tupperware for the last few dishes. Plus side is that we enjoyed the for the rest of the day. For the delicious comfort food brunch with so many different dishes (granola with yoghurt, cupcake, pacakes, mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandiwshes,..), the price is really reasonable.

Pros: extensive vegan brunch, outside sitting area

OK.

Well we assumed better food upon the feedbacks that this place was given. It says at the door: „not a fancy restaurant“ which was ok to us. BUT: this is not a healthy or good cuisine here. We had some toasts with vegan cheese and a burger with cheese. It didn‘t seem homemade to us but just heated up using processed foods. So nothing that we couldn‘t have done ourselves. This was disappointing, as we expected more from the good reviews. As dessert we had some cake which was really good but the pieces were far too big.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Not very lovely cooked

The best brunch ever

I only tasted the brunch which is served on saturday, and it was seriously awesome. The food was delicious (especially the crepes which were so fluffy), warm, and came in a great quantity (really, be careful i was so hungry that day and i could barely finish it).
The place is so pretty, with some fancy natural light inside, and the other cakes looked delicious too !
I also had a delicious coffee with oat milk.

Pros: Pretty place, Delicious food , Quite cheap for the quantity of good served

Nice spot for a relaxing afternoon (rainy or not)

I stopped by The Judgy Vegan on my only afternoon in Brussels. After much walking around, stopping by this cafe' was ideal. There are games, couches and free internet, which make it an ideal spot for that drink with cake, in the patio in the sunshine, or under the skylight if it rains. The interior has an unfinished, rough around the edges vibe (which you can find in many other grassroots veggie places): take it as a sign they are dedicated to the diet and lifestyle but still new enough not to be able to do full renovations. Support them as they are young and they will grow and blossom!
Well, remember what I said about afternoon tea and cake?Actually, I had some late lunch, in the shape of a vegan chick pea frittata, topped with veggies. It was tasty! Other options on the menu are a bit less wholesome (some of the food item feel a bit processed) and perhaps there is a bit of a lack of homemade drink options, but this place is not pretentious and that is reflected in all aspects here: food, drinks, decoration... If you want to hang in a chill spot and are chilled about it, you have found your place.

Pros: Lots of seating and moving space! Plenty of room, Quiet and relaxed, All right prices and a good selection of dishes

Cons: Decor could be more coherent, if you're picky

Loved it!

I had the brunch today with my non-vegan boyfriend and we both loved it. Especially the "omelette" was amazing. Also really great value. I will definitely come back when I'm in Brussels again.

Vegans!! please read

For starters, we have both been vegan for 4 years and have never experienced food as vile as the food served at this establishment... the decor will remind you of a children’s museum cafeteria. We ordered a potato burger (safe bet for vegans) and a grilled cheese with mushrooms and onions. The potato burger was basically a mush patty that had different temperatures through out every bite... some areas cold and others hot. The burger was topped with wet lettuce & gushy cucumbers. Next we had the grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had enough oil in it to make Belgium waffles... and the cheese wasn’t even slightly melted. So basically a rubber oil sandwich!! Oh yeah, I also ordered a banana milkshake (banana is my favorite) the milkshake was room temperature and had the consistency of water. It’s safe to say banana isn’t my favorite anymore. On a brighter note, we got a blueberry lemon cake to go and it was quite delightful. I did end up throwing up my potato burger, grilled cheese and warm milkshake into the gutter outside. So cheers & stay away.

No good brunch...

Tried the vegan all-you-can-eat brunch. It was not good... food was cold, plain without a lot of taste. Just the kind of things you can cook home (better). Too bad
