Best vegan donut ever - Edit
There’s so much I could say about this place. Before I arrived Graham made me aware there was a large party in at the same time so he would try to prioritise our order which made me and my partner arrive with an idea of what we wanted as to speed up the process. The welcome was a warm one and we were seating out the way with enough room to put our babies pram at the side of the table. There was a slight wait to order but when we did the loveliest waitress served us. We were made aware of the special but proceeded to order the Reuben sandwich with poutine and a side of coleslaw and kimchi. The presentation of the food and the flavours were incredible. The sandwich was stacked high with seitan, the poutine was amazing and the cheese in it was delicious and the kimchi was bursting with flavour. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse donut and I’m so glad I did, hands down the best donut I’ve ever had it was full to the brim with chocolate mousse and even my little girl liked a small taste of it. A special mention for the service though, the lady who served us was so cheerful and friendly, making a fuss of our baby and making us feel like we’d been there a thousand times. If I was to ever go back to Truro I’d 100% visit this place again.

We love them! - Edit
Graham recently took this over him and his partner continued to provide amazing food! Their cake selection is less, but their main menu is so varied. My Italian grandmother who is a carnivore and is fussy about her pasta really enjoyed her tagliatelle! I had the fysh and chips - beautiful. They also carry donuts from a place in Falmouth on Friday and Saturday which we pre ordered! They were huge and amazing.

Amazing Easter Sunday Roast! - Edit
This place is great! We have eaten at lots of vegan restaurants and this was the best roast we have ever had. It had everything including a Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese. Can’t wait to go back and try the regular menu. Very friendly too!

Delicious Typical Cornish 🤗 - Edit
The food came very fast.
Read moreThe poutine was the best what I ever ate, and very authentic.
I had also the rubben sandwich, which came with a very good brioche bun!
My girlfriend had the fish & chips. The chips are very chunky, well seasoned and jammy. The „fish“ was with banana blossom and algae. The fish was very good and authentic as the texture is similar to fish.
Pros: Fast food, Good portion, Good chips

Every time we visit Truro we make sure to drop by for lunch, we've never been disappointed by the amazing quality of the food. It was a very busy day when we arrived but the manager was extremely down to earth and managed to slip us in. If you're in the area don't miss the chance to visit!

The only fully vegan place in town - Edit
We've been here quite a lot and find the food is generally very good. The fish and chips is usually brilliant, but last visit it resembled a battered sausage and the texture was quite stringy rather than flakey. We did enjoy the tater tots and the red curry and mushroom medley were tasty, but quite extensively chilied. Would be nice if they had a wider selection of cold drinks like (fresh) juices or shakes and some more dessert offerings. A lack of glutenfree cakes which is a shame as several non vegan cafes in the area stock lovely vegan glutenfree cakes. A large proportion of the main menu is glutenfree. Service is friendly, but always seems like the staff are a little bit rushed - possibly a result of the pandemic pings however.

Our second time in Cornwall and our third time coming to The Cornish Vegan! We love the mushroom fusion, the hotdog and the poutine, the reuben, and especially the f¡sh n chips! Like the Thai curry but was a little too spicy for me. Love that they're dog friendly and they greet us and our dog with smiles and even treats!

Absolutely awesome. Went for my little brother’s birthday and booked ahead for a party of 8. Absolutely no problem in accommodating our group and our 2 doggos! Even brought the dogs treats and a water bowl and the owners wrote my little brother a birthday card!! Awesome place - can’t rave about this enough!!

Fishiest vegan fish ever - Edit
Great little vegan restaurant with a varied menu that has something for everyone. Tried the banana blossom ‘fish’ and chips which was by far the fishiest vegan alternative I’ve tried ever - a little disconcerting at first but quite brilliant. Hotdog good - pretty standard. Tata tots excellent . Would definitely return.

Still as good. - Edit
The last time I was here was before it was taken over by the new owners. I had such amazing memories of it that I was worried it wouldn't be as good this time round. I was wrong! I had the hot Reuben sandwich and my husband had the burger & fries. We were too full for pud but the cakes looked fantastic! Love this place.

Beautiful vegan food - Edit
I chose the fish n chips and my boyfriend the chickless burger, both served with sweet potato fries. Fish n chips came with mushy peas, curry sauce and tartar sauce. The taste was lovely. We opted for Frosty Jack cocktails, cider and cream tea gin which were also lovely. Only downside was we waited an hour for food but it was really fresh. Staff were really friendly. Would recommend and would visit again
