Bring a non-vegan to amaze them - Edit
A lovely meal, made even better by the friendly staff and range of choices. I brought my mum (non-vegan) and she's been raving about it since.

Absolutely spectacular - Edit
This place is amazing- gorgeous decor, gentle homely but modern vibes. Felt really welcome, staff really helpful, accommodating and friendly. Really good selection of food and drinks, so nice not to have to ask 'is it vegan?'. You can tell there is a real love for the food! Owner friendly and helpful, offered some tips for other good places to eat nearby.
Read moreWe had the poutine to start - best we've ever had, could be a full meal in itself! The Thai curry and katsu to follow. Really tasty but super full after poutine despite sharing it - split it/eat as a meal alone!
My sole complaint is that I couldn't eat everything there! Would highly recommend, will definitely be going back next time we're in Cornwall.

Loved this restaurant. Quite small and with limited opening hours so would recommend planning ahead and booking. Good range of options on the menu - fully vegan. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime family visit.

Delicious food and wonderful service - Edit
As a vegan family, we had The Cornish Vegan on our list of places to visit on our holiday to Cornwall this year and we certainly weren’t disappointed. What a fabulous restaurant with truly delicious food and such friendly staff! We enjoyed the ‘fish’ and chips and the poke bowl immensely; even our doggo was well looked after with a drink and biscuit!
Read moreThe service was second to none, with plenty of recommendations for the rest of our holiday which was really helpful! If you get chance to go, don’t hesitate - we thoroughly recommend to vegans and non vegans alike!

Don't order the poutine (it's my favourite and I want it thanks) - Edit
Been coming here for two years and still one of my favourite places to eat. The thai red curry and firecracker pork are to die for, and my eternal favourite the poutine so please don't order it en masse or they'll run out and I'll cry. (I've just sealed my own fate now haven't I). I also hear good things about the tofish and chips from people I've gone with but I'm always lured away by the siren call of curry.

A lovely, cosy little place with delicious food and 5 star service. I was so impressed that the owner greeted us by name as we walked through the door and he was so friendly and chatty, there's a real home away from home vibe here and I wouldn't hesitate in going back next time we're in Truro.

A must visit in Truro - Edit
We visited the Cornish Vegan on our way through Cornwall and it was the best pitstop we could have made. The menu was brilliant and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They even looked after our dog and gave her water and treats. We had the Rueben Sandwich and hotdog - both were delicious. We’ll be back!

Love this place.
Read moreI had the Reuben. Great texture and flavour.
The loaded fries were huge and the vegan cheese was a rich flavour.
The Tofu katsu curry was crispy, soft inside and the taste was exactly right.
The sticky mushroom medley was the winner though.
Great choice of local beers. A place for Truro to be proud of.
Pros: Entirely Vegan, Wide range of cuisine, Big portions
Cons: None.

What a lovely fully vegan restaurant with a very big menu and a great variety of food, making it very tricky to pick.
Read moreWe had their take on 'fish' n chips, so very tasty with all of the trimmings and sauces. Best I've had so far!
We also had their mac'n cheese which was to be honest nothing special, it could do with more sauce and more flavour in our opinion. There are plenty of other tempting things to choose from though.
A very friendly owner who made us feel very welcome.
Pros: Great menu, Very friendly owner

Wonderful - Edit
We were visiting from Bristol which has a wealth of vegan eateries but were still so impressed by the Cornish Vegan. The menu was very varied, the decor was beautiful, and the service was excellent. We ordered the tagliatelle carbonara and the mushroom fusion with prawn crackers to share; both were delicious but the carbonara was a particular standout. My only very minor complaint is that the venue was quite cold, but with the cost of living crisis who can blame them? All in all, a real vegan gem.
