Great food but poor service - Edit
The food here is really nice but it can take up to an hour to arrive. I don't understand how it takes so long even if the meal is made fresh. I've been put off going here because of having to be somewhere else at a certain time and not being able to rely on food coming out on time.

The food was tasty, a little oily but that was expected, what was not expected was the incredibly slow service. The lack of soap in the bathroom is really what made the experience unpleasant. I’m sure there’s another restroom in the back for the employees, but not being able to wash your hands properly is off-putting.

My favorite restaurant in Amsterdam - Edit
I'm a regular customer here and I promised myself to try all the dishes on the menu. My favorites are still the vegan ramen and the ginger apple tea. I absolutely love the place and I've taken all my friends here to share the vegan love.

A fusion of Caribbean and Japanese food, homemade and cooked to order. Yes the service maybe not be the fastest but if you go when it opens at 12pm you’ll be in the queue with everyone else who’s going at 12pm!!!

I recommend that if you don’t have much time or you’re in a rush then forget it!!! Go back another day!!!!
If however you’re happy to go place your order and have a drink then you can sit and wait and drool with envy at all the plates that are being delivered to your neighbours!!! With greedy eyes and wishing ‘I’d ordered that instead’!!!!
Every time we go back to Amsterdam we visit and are slowly working through the menu!

This place reminded me of the Jamaican spots I used to go to back home in Brooklyn. Of course, with a twist. The food and place felt authentic, like how your grandma or auntie might serve you back home. I only ate there once, but I will, most definitely, be making many return trips to this place whenever I’m back in Amsterdam.

The food was really tasty and the portions were big, which I like. I ate the spring rolls, which was the best I’ve ever had, and vegan ramen! The staff was friendly too. The place was not the easiest to find though and it could have been cozier. But it was good.

This is by far my FAVORITE vegan spot at Amsterdam. The vegan sushi and meat/rice dishes are so delicious, omg. I was craving asian food so badly, and this hit the spot lol. One thing that’s super unattractive about this restaurant is the slow service. They took way too long to seat us, cook us our food, and give us water. They didn’t even give us water until I asked the waiter!!! They really need to fix this aspect of this restaurant because it almost made the experience unbearable. However - the food is SO delicious. So I applaud their chef!

I went here on a hot summer day. They didn't have AC and there is little to no ventilation. The server was pleasant, but the service was awfully slow. It was generally a horrible experience except for the food which was amazing. I would go again, but only on a cooler day when I have plenty of time.

100% vegan restaurant a little hidden away behind the busy streets of Amsterdam. The people there were nice and we had a couple of questions they could answer. The food was really tasty and delicious. We had to order a take-away because its a small restaurant and is very busy on saturdays. But that didnt bother us at all.

Quirky place! We managed to get a table, service isn't fantastic, but the tasty food more than made up for it, we had the Jamaican plate and the crunchy Dragon roll, both dishes exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return.

The food was delicious and the portions were massive. I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. Only downside is we waited a lot, to order, to receive our food, and to pay. We spent over an hour and a half at the restaurant for what was supposed to be a quick lunch, and it wasn’t busy. It was worth the wait though!

Absolutely love this cool little place tucked away in Amsterdam. It’s a small venue so can get busy quickly. I advise getting there before the rush to get a seat and avoid waiting. Food here is delicious! I had the sushi dish and my partner had the burger. The venue is cute and there seems to be a nice vibe here. I did order a coconut milkshake but it tasted like pineapple. Either way, I will be back!

Very nice food to eat on a communal table. We had samos and spring rolls, followed by fried tofu and tempeh. Very nice cakes, inspired by Dutch cuisine: chocolate cake with gelato, warm apple cake, and Dutch pancakes. Jamaican and Japanese inspired cuisine, with a nice Dutch kick for the dessert menu.

Came with the expectation of slow service and questionable atmosphere. But it was much better than expected! Okay it smelt a bit greasy but the server was super friendly and food was relatively fast. Sushi was okay.
