We had a fabulous dinner - and found our first efficient and very quick service in the country! Many many vegan options are on the menu, which is helpfully labeled. We loved the: Healthy Nachos, Olives, Tofu Avocado Tartare, Kate Salad, Tofu Shiitake Eggplant Teriyaki, Lotus Chips, and a delicious potato dish. And, The service and kitchen speed was fabulous. Would return in a heartbeat - only wish it was 100% plant-based.

Un restaurante que ofrece versiones vegetales de platos típicos de la cocina catalana y más allá. Había probado ya el de Lleida, pero tenía ganas de volver y visitar este. No decepciona. Está muy bien para ocasiones especiales, por la atmósfera del restaurante. Las kombuchas del grupo (Teresa Carles/ Flax and Kale) están muy buenas siempre, así como los platos que ofrecen.

The food was very tasty and was served fast. One waiter unfortunately might have been having a bad day because she didn't smile at all. I didn't like the interior design that much: it was too bright and had a bit of grandma vibes with tea kettles on the wall. Heard Fantasy from Gallimatias for the first time in a restaurant, that was nice. But all-in-all the music was kinda meh.

Since I was visiting Spain, I really wanted to try paella. This restaurant did not disappoint! The vegan calamari was really good and the rice was flavourful. The dish had a nice smokey taste, and I also enjoyed my croquetas.

I was quite skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but being nearby and in a hurry I decided to give it a try. The place has more of a restaurant vibe, but it was faster than most fast foods - i only waited about 5 minutes for my paella. The paella itself was actually very tasty, nothing extraordinary, but I really enjoyed it.

I found my experience here quite disappointing overall. On our first visit, we were hoping to order the ravioli from the daily menu for dinner. When we asked about it, the waitress was surprisingly rude and dismissive, which put us off enough to leave.

This time, I ordered the Catalan cream, but it arrived without the signature burnt sugar topping, just a bowl of chia pudding, which wasn’t what I was expecting. The waiter was kind and offered me a different dessert. I asked for his recommendation, and he brought out a slice of brioche topped with custard. Unfortunately, the brioche was very soggy - unsurprising given the ingredients - and I didn’t enjoy it.
In the end, for that dessert and a glass of water, the total was €7.90. Considering the underwhelming food and inconsistent service, I can’t say I’d return.

Experiència molt positiva. Cambrer amable i atent. Vam sopar braves de la TC i jerusalem hummus per picar i cadascuna un plat: canelo xxl i filet mignon, per postres cheese cake i crema catalana. Tot el menjar de bona qualitat i boníssim. A destacar incloure remolatxa i pastanaga a les braves, els plats principals (deliciosos) i la crema catalana. La TC és tot un plaer per als sentits. Recomano demanar allò diferent i especial perquè sorprèn molt gratament.

I tried a lasagna, bombas and a crepe. The bombas were a little disappointing, I was expecting something inside of it as other bombas I have tried. The crepe was very tasty, the cream was excellent. The lasagna was the best one, a very nice flavor and a good amount of. The dessert I ordered was the Torrija de Crema Catalana. To be honest was the best dessert I tried in Barcelona, just excellent.

Read moreI previously ate at their sister restaurant Flax & Kale and found that experience to overshadow my time at Teresa Carles. I was definitely familiar with many of the overlapping menu items and decided to go with their rotating lunch special for that day's meal.
I started with their gazpacho which was flavorful and a nice treat on a hot summer day. Afterwards I received my vegan kebab which I found a bit underwhelming. The pita felt too soft and there wasn't much of the actual soy meat they used compared to the condiments. It felt more like a TVP crumble on top of soft bread. I did enjoy the vegan pudding dessert to end the meal however.
Since I was leaving on a flight, I did end up ordering one of their veggie burgers and fries to go, and I found that to be much tastier than the kebab that I had at the restaurant.
Despite the 'okay' lunch, I still enjoyed the experience and am glad there's an extensive vegan scene here in the city.

Era la primera que íbamos a Teresa Carles con grandes expectativas ya que es un restaurante referente en Barcelona de la comida veggie.

El gazpacho estaba ok.
Lo más decepcionante fué el cachopo vegano relleno. El cachopo no estaba jugoso y de sabor "meh"!. Las patatas que lo acompañaban estaban muy secas y las salsas que pusieron de estilo hindú no pegaban para nada con el tipo de comida.
Lo sorprendente fué la rapidez con la que sacaban los platos. Intuyo que estaba todo recalentado.
El postre sí que estaba rico.
Referente al personal, el chico que está recibiendo a la gente era simpático y correcto, pero el camarero que nos trajo la comida era poco sonriente y de pocas palabras.
