DELICIOUS VEGAN/GF PASTRIES & READY TO GO FOODS!

I FOUND THIS PLACE A FEW YEARS AGO NEAR MY WORK & HAVE BEEN GOING EVER SINCE. THEY RECENTLY HAVE TURNED FULLY GF WHICH IS AMAZING. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VEGAN & EVER SINCE I HAVE BEEN GOING THEY HAVE NEVER DISSAPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY/VARIETY. IT IS A CUTE LITTLE PLACE & THEY FEATURE A MINI MARKET WITH FOOD ITEMS THAT YOU CAN PREPARE AT HOME. THEY ALSO FEATURE A MINI DELI COUNTER WITH READY TO EAT FOODS. THE PASTRIES ARE AMAZING. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALWAYS GREAT & THE OWNER IS WONDERFUL TOO! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA FOR LIGHT LUNCH & DESSERTS/COFFEE.

Pros: GREAT VARIETY, MINI MARKET, VERY ALLERGY FRIENDLY

Highly recommend

I've taken out from here numerous times. I'm partial to the two hummus items, since I don't like mock meats. The desserts ive had were all good, but the oatmeal molasses raspberry crumb bar is insanely good! I also really like the oatmeal molasses whoopee cookie.

Pros: All vegan, friendly owner and staff, good food

Cons: Parking not always easy to find

6 Star Comfort Food 👌🏽

What a great find!!

Was in the area for the weekend and am so glad I fell upon this restaurant (and it’s sister market) for some deli pubs vegan comfort food (& groceries aka snacks) 🙌🏽

The staff was super nice & pretty helpful. Except when I asked which sandwich was most popular, the girl behind the counter proceeded to recite each sandwich off the menu just in a different order then they were listed 😭... she wasn’t necessarily wrong in doing so since everything was 💣💣💣. They also have cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and other assorted pastries.

The k-pop hero 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Pros: Fully vegan, Fully delicious , Friendly staff

GREAT FOOD & SERVICE!

Decided to stop in and work from my computer when I was waiting to pick up my husband from an appointment. Everything I ate was totally delicious, very reasonably priced and the staff were super nice and accommodating. I wish I lived closer so I could stop in more often but I'll definitely make it a stop when I'm in the area. Don't miss their vegan store 2 doors down, I found all sorts of vegan goodies there too!

Vegan treats for vegans and non vegan

It is so hard to find a good vegan sweet treat. I think it is amazing to be able to have a vegan treat that is not dry or over priced because someone slap the word vegan on it. I loved my experience here and I am going to be a regular customer. Also there is a vegan grocery store next door. As a vegan it can be aggravating to go to a store and read every label on a product to make sure all the ingredients are vegan. This store which is the sister store to the treat restaurant takes away the guess work if something you buy is vegan or not because everything in the store is vegan.

Pros: Great customer service , Delicious food , Not too expensive

Cons: I wish they open before 11

Vegan heaven

The options are endless here at Sweet to Lick. They had on a Sunday afternoon Whoopie pies, turnovers, cookies, cake, cupcakes, and more! I really enjoyed my oatmeal whoopie pie it reminded me of the little Debbies oatmeal creme pie. Can’t wait to come back!

Great food! And great staff!

I’ve been going to this bakery since they opened. My favorite dish is the tacos and actually I’m addicted to them now. I live in Queens but the ride is so worth it! I love their pastries and tea varieties too. The atmosphere is so welcoming with the staff always smiling and accommodating. The owner is so nice and often when my husband is with me he will have long conversations with him. My little daughter goes with me there too and loves to have a cookie and a chickpea sandwich😄

Pros: Lots of options., Great food, Great atmosphere, staff and owner

Cons: I don’t live closer :(

Vegan in Long Island

Awesome vegan pastries and sweets in the middle of...Long Island?? What a pleasant surprise to find this place. We stopped by for a little snack but ended up grabbing 4 or 5 pastries total. Everything was delicious, and the prices are very reasonable too.
Great spot. Highly recommend it. Also, there’s a Sweet To Lick market a couple doors down where they sell all your favorite vegan fridge and pantry items.

My fav lunch spot

I love this lil bakery & so glad they do lunch. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu ...which is big for me bc I'm usually loyal to 1 dish at places.
What's better then lunch followed by fresh coffee & dessert....nothing!

Phenomenal variety

Possibly the best of vegan eating on the island. Bakery items are all delicious and I’ve had a variety of the sandwiches and have been very pleased. I only had one that was less exciting than usual. Friendly staff are great. And now they have a market on the same block.

great

The lunch menu is small but delicious. I had the tacos which were great. My omnivore mom had the bbq hero and thought it was great. We also got a bunch of desserts to go that were very good. The bakery itself is a cute little place with a few seats and tables.

Pros: good food, good prices, good atmosphere

A Great place to relax and enjoy

I only recently found out this place existed and I've been going several times a week ever since. They create some of the most delicious vegan sweets I've tasted. The people who run it are very friendly and you can aee they love what they do. They recently opened a vegan grovery store a few doors down. I now prefer this shop to any of the others. I'd highly recommend it if you're on the area. :)

Pros: All Vegan, Many Delicious Options, They do a Punch card system

Cons: A bit Pricey , Finding Parking is awful

Even my Non-Veg friends fell out of their chairs!

WOW!! Their desserts are to DIE FOR!! I've gotten so many different items from them, however, my most recent visit, I discovered the Pumpkin Maple Oatmeal Cream Pie- I purchased one, along with a Gluten Free Blondie. When I got to the car, I took a bite of the cream pie, as soon as I did, I backed back into my spot and ran inside to buy three more. I cut them up and served them to my guests that night - NO ONE would believe me that they are VEGAN- they are so good! They also lasted a decent amount of time covered in the fridge. I also ate in at the café, I had the jackfruit tacos with chipotle lime sauce- WOW - I could have eaten 10 of them! They were the right balance of savory/ sweet/ spicy - so good!

Pros: Friendly staff , AWESOME options, Great value

Cons: Parking was tight on the street , Limited lunch menu

it's okay

This place is a simple vegan option for baked goods. I once bought a vegan cake from here but no one but no one thought the cake was edible.
