After making my reservation, I informed the staff about my vegan diet and the fact that I was celebrating a new job. I confirmed with my waitress that I was vegan. I ordered a vegan burger, but unfortunately, I received a regular burger instead. The waitress repeatedly assured me that she had correctly entered the order as vegan and even took the burger back to the kitchen to replace it with the vegan burger because it didn’t taste like a burger. However, when I spoke to the manager, who took over 20 minutes to come and address my issue, I was still served the incorrect burger. Apparently, the kitchen had made a mistake after I had already eaten a quarter of a regular burger. Despite this, the manager proceeded to correct the order and promised to remake the burger.
Read moreI strongly advise against dining at this establishment. They seem to disregard allergies and do not take them seriously. While the ambiance is pleasant due to its beach location, I would not recommend ordering anything here. Now, I find myself in a rather unpleasant situation. I’m currently in my room, trying to pack for my flight back home in the morning, all because of this unfortunate incident.

There was vegan options on the menu, but when we were seated (after 40 min wait), we were told that there was no vegan cheese hence almost no vegan options. The worst was they places us right next to a lobster tank with crowded lobsters. So animal abuse as a side order. No thank you.

We ordered the vegan pizza and it was very delicious. They do have clearly marked what's vegan on the menu. We enjoyed it a lot and we will go there again this holiday. It's a very busy place and very large, so if you keep that in mind you'll have a great evening.

Well,,,,,The menu offers vegan starters and vegan mains as well as a vegan crumble for desert and the quality of food is actually very good!

Upon paying the bill I complained about this and there were profuse apologies with a promise that if we returned we would receive much better service!
Returned a few days later and the same old story of being made to wait for ages before we managed to flag down a flagging waiter who said they had no vegan crumble left!
Upon paying the bill this was commented upon and the maitre di’ ridiculously advised us that the vegan crumble was actually the. ‘normal’ crumble with the crumble taken off - so effectively stewed apple - speechless!!!
The problem with this place is it’s so busy and popular that they can somehow get away with sub-standard service - and as much as meat eaters will put up with this populist ‘it’s the place to be seen’ attitude vegans must not!
Also ,,,,,and I only noticed as we were sitting down for the second meal, they have this awful tank filled with live lobsters that are awaiting execution as customers select their dinner - not for me I’m afraid to watch somebody devour a poor creature that minutes before was alive and well before they selected it for their plate!
Just visit Max Garden, where the food is far better, the atmosphere much more relaxed and the friendly professional service is second to none!
Non of the pretentious rubbish that Si So provides as standard! !
Pros: Modern vibe, Excellent Vegan Paellla
