Good Lao menu

Small place tucked in a side alley. I’ve eaten there 3 times this past week and the experience is a little inconsistent. Overall the food is very good, sometimes it feels like it’s been reheated. A little pricey for what it is, but you can easily have a complete vegan meal under $5 per person. I have one last day in Vientiane and will definitely go back there for one more meal. Haven’t seen the owner, but the young ladies running the kitchen are super friendly and accommodating. #Veganuary

Microwave lunch

The service is fast because all dishes are prepared in the microwave. A 100% vegan restaurant using soya protein as a substitute for meat but very bad qualità of the ingredients. From the price list you can see that the prices have increased by 50%, in that area it is not that cheap. People are really nice but the food not. Definitely I do not recommend it!!!

Pros: Nice people, Nice place

Cons: Microwave use

Amazing little vegan place

A completely vegan restaurant and the food was fantastic and served quickly.
So many options I struggled to pick two. Fried duck noodle soup and curry puffs were phenomenal.
An absolute must to visit!!

Good, but could use some more flavor

Ordered a mango shake, 'crispy' tempeh and the crispy chicken noodles.
All was served very quickly.
Tempeh wasn't crispy as advertised. Taste was good though.
Noodles were nice. Chicken was very crispy, but the dish lacked some overall flavor.

A lot of choice

Fresh spring rolls were delicious, pad thai was good, tempeh 3 flavors wasn’t crunchy enough because it was in some kind of broth.

Wonton soup to die for!

This restaurant has lots of options and many mock meat options.

The wonton soup is purely amazing and I would definitely recommend. It had a bit too much parsley for my likes but I just fished that out of the bowl.

The fries chicked rice was a bit bland but still pretty nice. The staff is also really nice.

Not that good

It was a cute place. The stir fried chicken wasn't really tasty. Had some weird flavours. The Wonton soup was very nice tho. Friendly staff

Wonderful little vegan restaurant

It was so nice to be able to have something other than just tofu. It was really delicious, not quite the same as western substitutions but still really good. It was nice to be able to try the classic meat dishes that we don’t often get, such as teriyaki duck and satay chicken. Delicious!

Pros: Variety, Delicious, Inexpensive

Really nice local space

It’s a nice local restaurant with an extensive menu where everything is vegan. No nasty surprises and all your food will be 100% vegan. A lot of dishes have mock meat and you can try all traditional Lao and regional dishes. If you don’t like mock meat they also have a huge array of tofu tempeh and veggie dishes. We came here every evening for dinner and tried a lot of dishes and everything was outstandingly delicious. Absolutely recommended!

Pros: Huge menu, Super nice service, Snacks for takeaway

Great vegan chicken!

Really loved this place when we were in Vientiane - we visited once and ordered a few times on Food Panda too! We tried the teriyaki chicken and peanut chicken ordered with steamed rice, both of which were AMAZING! 😍 We also tried the fried tempeh (love them), grilled pork skewers and curry puffs, which were good. Definitely recommend!

The staff are so lovely, but we did find that our rice was cold when we ate in store.

Amazing good food. I asked to give me lessons...

The flavour of the minced duck spicy salad (vegan) was among the best thing I have eaten kn this part of the world. This is so despite rhe very simple restaurant. The lady has a gift for food. Evidently : other Laotian told me they love her food too.

Dont understand the good ratings

I was twice in this restaurant. The first time I had mixed vegetables and the second time pad thai. The mixed vegetables was mostly cabbage and the portion was small. The pad thai was made with a ketchup sauce...Im speechless. Vegan ok but the food is not good.

Fried wontons and fried spring rolls. Lovely staff. Tons of choices and next door to friends' restaurant, so hard to decide which one to go to as well.

Good food

A really extensive menu, hard to decide. The noodles with crispy pork was average and I would choose something different next time. The green curry was supper tasty and the fried chicken hit different. Really good price too.

delicious delivery

We ordered two nights in a row for delivery to our hotel via Food Panda. The fried chicken and rice was so crispy and delicious we had it for both dinners, only downside was the red rice was quite mushy. We also tried the duck green curry (very soupy but tasty with some chunks of fresh veggies and fragrant roasted mock duck), flat noodles (these were a bit lack lustre with soggy broccoli and cauliflower), grilled pork skewers (nice and chewy), and spring rolls (better than average with a yummy sweet dipping sauce). Both times we over-ordered because it was so cheap and we ended up very full but enjoyed our feasts.

Delicious food, huge menu and a cozy space

The cafe has about 5 tables and sells takeaway snacks and packaged vegan goods. I got the mock duck noodle soup and it absolutely exceeded all my expectations. Large portion size, the noodles were silky with a perfect chew, broth was super flavourful and they added in mock fish balls and crispy mock meat. Service was quick and very friendly.

Pros: Huge vegan menu , Very inexpensive and large portion size, Delicious food

my every day food

just visited the restaurant for the first time after ordering through foodpanda every day for over a week (i live and work on the other side of town).
Beng, the owner is so lovely. she is a vegan herself and runs the restaurant and delivery service with her daughter.
i’ll surely continue ordering my meals here! 🫶

Pros: lots of vegan options, small family owned and run business, delivery through foodpanda

Cons: a lot of plastic packaging for take out
