Halifax's first plant based butcher shop open first week of January 2019. Sells different kinds of vegan meats and vegan cheezes. Special charcuterie trays are available for order. Has stools overlooking the street plus outdoor sidewalk patio. Hosts monthly brunch and meals - check webpage for schedule. Open Tue-Thu 10:00am-7:00pm, Fri-Sat 10:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:00am-6:00pm.

Absolute favorite vegan spot in Halifax - Edit
Sooo many comfort food options! I love the mac and cheeses as well as handhelds. My favorite was the philly cheesesteak special. I always try whatever the special is because I can’t get enough.

Love this place. Absolutely amazing. We had Breakfast Poutine, Donair, and Mac and Cheese with Wings on site and took away a few things as well. Make this your first stop in Halifax.

You gotta come here! So so tasty and inspiring. We got the vegan donair poutine and the vegan wings in buffalo sauce and they were so good!! We also got a vegan cinnamon toast crunch cookie which was delish.

Had a delicious early dinner here whilst on holiday in Nova Scotia. Lots of options to choose from so we got a few bits to share as a family. Everything was really delicious. Proper comfort food! Think my favourite was the wings and the truffle Mac which was one of the best macaroni cheeses I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot!).

The everyday menu has so many great choices. You will want to come back. I took several more items from the butchery as well. The spicy pepperoni was our favorite. Several cheeses are offered too. One of my favorite places in all of Nova Scotia.

I had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich and it tasted otherworldly. Absolutely loved it. Also tried the truffle mac and the poutine. Portions were large! Wish I lived in Halifax to visit frequently. Definitely coming back when I'm on holiday again

This was so good. Cute spot, friendly staff. We got the donair poutine and buffalo chick'n wrap - both were awesome. Grabbed some cookies and a deep dish cake to bring to a friend's place after and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. So stoked this place exists.

I ordered a classic breakfast plate. Every thing was delicious, the egg was good, the bacon and sausage were flavourful, the hash was good and the pancakes were a sweet threat. I would recommend.

Great space, staff and food! I tried the veggie donair and the poutine. Great prices and portions! The donair was delicious, well spiced and loaded with their house made meat. The poutine has a thick gravy and their cheese curds are a touch creamy.

Visiting Halifax for a week and we’re looking for vegan places. Stopped in for lunch and got a chicken sandwich and buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and the homemade ranch was also a hit. Great decoration and nice location as many other vegan options are close by. Got a steak to cook up at home and very excited for that! I would come back!

Read moreThe donair was an absolute standout—so good I wished I could eat it endlessly. The poutine was also fantastic, with the coconut curd cheese adding a unique twist. The mac and cheese was tasty but ranked third among the dishes we tried.
For dessert, the lemon pie was delicious but way too sweet for me. The meringue was thick and heavy, so sharing a piece would’ve been a better choice.
If you’re in Halifax, don’t miss this spot for creative and hearty plant-based eats!

In town for a 1/2 the day. After eating food off NCL Breakaway this was a HUGE treat. The real fake burger was fantastic. Poutine was good to try. Had a piece of chocolate torte to go, that was yummy too. Good to see the utensil on to go are compostable and the plates and utensil for in-house meal are reusable. Sure wish we had a place like this near us. BTW, there’s a couple other vegan friendly shops near by.

The good here is amazing. My partner and I shared a donair, vegan chicken sandwich and fried with gravy. The gravy was so good I drank it. I also loved the sandwich. The donair was a bit strange, but I think I just don't love sweet sauce on meat! The seitan was life changing. We also had grapefruit punch, which was delish.
