Okay vegan deli - Edit
They have a range of options, but are quite similar to regular British pub grub. We weren’t blown away, but it’s a good option for vegans visiting Glastonbury.

I found Rainbows End Cafe a real blast from the past, I visited here well before the Vegan Golden Age of 2016 around 2008 ish and they haven't really changed one bit, in a good way. They do what I would consider "old style" vege/vegan food, I was always a fan of this style and it was really nice to eat some of this style of food again.
Read moreYou can tell they cook all this food themselves, without heavy use of mock meat. Some of the items were amazing (the Mushroom+Guiness Pie, the tahini dressed cauliflower salad, the new potatoes, the pizza), some were just "fine" (the spring roll, the cake, the samosa).
Having said this I'd highly recommend a visit here if you miss this style of vege/vegan food.

Had a fantastic lunch. Also had vegan cake, really good. Best place for lunch in Glastonbury. Everything is vegetarian or vegan. Gluten free options too.

I love this place and have visited multiple times. I’m vegan and it was my first visit with my carnivore bf. I had the vegan pizza with salads. He had the vegan spring roll, but I couldn’t tempt him with the greenery. Both meals were delicious! I even got him eating my salad! We ended it by sharing a piece of chocolate cake. Heaven! Really good value for money. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian options - Edit
We had been here three times in recent years and each time it was excellent. This time the three of us had the Falafel Platter, the Sunday (Mushroom based) Roast, and the Filo Pastry. All were delicious and freshly prepared. Pricing was in the range £11 to £13 each. We got in just before the rush at 13:00.

The food they serve is really unique, very delicious, and really healthy, nourishing and high-quality. Rather than providing a set menu, they allow you to make up your plate with different options from a wide variety of dishes provided from a display counter. You can make your plate up completely yourself, with whatever you want, or chose to tailor a plate from example options. The food, and vegan options, are more varied than in other places, you really have a great selection of really thoughtful food. They also provide fairly big portion sizes at a really affordable price, which shows they care about the customer and the food standard, and not profits.

Best salads I’ve ever had! - Edit
Went here every day we stayed in Glastonbury the salads were amazing. Cake was really nice, shame lots of things aren’t vegan some of which easily could be. Doesn’t do breakfasts which is a shame as we loved it but meant we had very healthy filling brunches instead.

Have used when in the area for 15 years. Today about 50% vegan. Tasty biryani curry with 4 potatoes. Really lovely hot spiced apple juice and large portion of rose chocolate cake. Good value. Plenty of tables and staff following good safe covid practices.

Our first impression of this place wasn’t the greatest as the lady serving ignored me initially. Then didn’t raise a smile when we started to order however as we started to ask about the food and ordered she appeared to warm up. I had the falafels, hummus, salad, olives and pita bread. It was quite pricey at £8.95 but a big portion. There were plenty of tables inside but it was just lovely outside so well worth sitting out there. There weren’t too many vegan options so I’d probably try somewhere else if we were back in Glastonbury.

Our first cafe visit post-lockdown. Very good system and impeccably clean. Distanced queueing up to the bar where staff clearly explain vegan options and serve you. Pay at at the bar and go find a seat - we enjoyed the stunning garden!

Popular Veggie Restaurant - Edit
There are plenty of salads and the food is pretty healthy at Rainbow which is great. Rainbow does have vegan options but they feel a bit dated - mezze; jacket potato with more hummus than you can eat. The specials are good but can be sold out if you get there a bit late and not all of them are vegan anyway. There isn't much choice of vegan cake.
