Terrible service; refused to serve freins with nut allergy - Edit
I’ve been here twice. The first time I loved it and booked a table for a large group for my birthday. When we arrived they asked if any of us had allergies and one of my friends flagged that she was allergic to nuts. The manager said the kitchen was nut-contaminated and essentially refused to serve us. However it was incredibly unclear what we should do and we wasted a huge amount of time trying to figure out if they were asking us to leave or what. At no point had this issue been mentioned when I had booked by email literally months earlier. We were a large group and couldn’t just walk in someplace else. The wine bar next door ended up saving the day, but it was so embarrassing and drawn out and sort of ruined the evening. What a terrible experience! If you have a nut allergy do not go here. If you want good service do not go here.

One of the best in London - Edit
Had the okra fries that come with a delicious sauce, sweet corn fritters with pickled beetroot, the butter beans with kale, and hot flatbread with cashew butter. All exceptional! Love that there’s no processed food, all fresh, colourful, and satisfying. Definitely recommend!

Food was amazing! - Edit
It was definitely $$ but the quality was worth it in my opinion. Staff was fantastic, calm and welcoming, very relaxing space with adorable furniture and clean marble tables. Plenty of seating at tables and long bar type seating along wall with lots of windows.
Read moreDeliciously fluffy pancakes served with the best maple syrup I’ve ever tasted and berry compote. Since pancakes were about four inches across, would have liked more than three of them for eleven euros but they were very tasty. Husband tried the porridge, fair warning it has quite a bit of coconut in it which is not mentioned on the menu. Nut butter on sourdough came with two super thick slices of the softest seed filled sourdough and a little dish of nut butter that was super tasty.
Pros: Amazing food, Lovely decor, Quick service
Cons: I like rap music but seemed out of place here, Some items portion was smaller than expected

Great breakfast - Edit
Went on a Wednesday morning at 10am and it was very busy and noisy. My friend says they use to have downstairs seating- this is no longer the case, so it’s very small now, and means only one unisex toilet upstairs.

Fabulous! - Edit
Food was amazing. A very inventive menu, and everything was beautifully presented. A rare gem for vegans in a city that mostly defines vegan as vegie burgers and chips. The service and atmosphere were also lovely. Highly recommend!

Finest food selection - Edit
We ordered the cacio e pepe and the crispy tempura aubergine mains. The aubergine dish was one of the best things I ever tasted.
Read moreThere weren't a lot of menu options but the dishes were diverse and sophisticated in their own way. The homemade ice-teas were excellent, we definetly recommend trying them. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cosy and private. The restaurant is on the pricier side, definetly worth a visit.

Disappointingly long wait - Edit
It was 4:30 in the afternoon, I ordered an appetizer, main course and planned to have dessert.
Read moreThe appetizer, a great mousse, was quite simple and arrived only 10 minutes after ordering.
Then I had to wait 1 hour with a reminder before getting the risotto.
The food was delicious, but the wait forced me to leave and I didn't try the dessert or other options they suggested.
Pros: Nice place, good vegan food
Cons: Long wait without notice

The location is fantastic, a calm spot close to the hustle and bustle of London.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, with a relaxed service.

Deliciously Ella served on a plate - Edit
I've listened to the great healthy eating podcasts, I've read and cooked from the instagram recipes and the recipe books themselves, and now I can just have it all served to my table in this lovely little restaurant in a great location. It is truly delicious food. All vegan, of course, and it's the sort of vegan venue I could take my animal eating friends to and they'll eat well with the tastiest of top quality food, and then probably go away quietly pondering on the plant based question. .

We got kicked out because I’m allergic to peanuts - Edit
Looks like an awesome place with many amazing food options, but right after we came in they kicked us out because I told them I was allergic to peanuts. They explained us that they are generally not serving any people with nut allergies.
Read moreEven though I told them that I’m personally fine with eating there if they cook other dishes with peanuts, they wouldn’t let us in.
I still think it’s awesome that they only serve vegan food and contribute to a better future but this discrimination is not ok.

Cons: Are not serving people with nut allergies

The best hot chocolate - Edit
The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They knew a lot about the menu. The hot chocolate was amazing and the pancakes were perfectly fluffy. They didn’t have all the menu that was advertised, the smoothies or varieties of hot chocolate.

Not worth it. - Edit
Before I explain my poor rating, I should disclose that I have generally found the Deliciously Ella recipes a little too bland and simple.
Read moreIt was my first trip to this eponymous restaurant and I won’t return. It’s a small place with tables very close together, making it impossible not to be part of several strangers’ conversations. The cramped venue is complemented by some pavement seating outdoors. The staff seemed friendly but haven’t been trained or perhaps there just aren’t enough of them (food taken to the wrong table, I was given the bill of another table). All of this could have been overlooked if the food wasn’t such a let down: with such simple cooking one expects the inherent flavour of high quality vegetables to come through, that wasn’t the case and I had to succumb to the salt and pepper mills. With starters at around £13 and mains at around £20, I would not recommend this place at all.
