Wonderfully welcoming - Edit
I’ve not really taken much notice of the Deliciously Ella brand to date, generally preferring to avoid vegan products I see as a bit pretentious or pimped ……. however, we were stuck for somewhere to lunch today so went to Plants. And what a wonderful surprise it was! Such a fabulous eatery: lovely friendly staff, really relaxed atmosphere and utterly delicious food! Good size portions and, for London, very reasonably priced - a bit of a revelation for me all round so I’m definitely going to have a look at DE’s cookery books now!

Superb food, atmosphere and staff - Edit
Took my sister-in-law as a treat and we loved the food, the location, the staff were lovely and the gluten free options outnumbered the gluten options on the menu - which is rare

Good food - Edit
A nice cafe on a corner just in Mayfair, behind Oxford street. A small terrace outside and nice food with friendly staff. Only downside that it was quite expensive for what you’ll get.

I was there for breakfast and got the Avocado Toast and a cappuccino. It was the best Avocado Toast I ever had! The staff was very friendly, too. Will come back when I’m in London again.

Very underwhelming - Edit
As fans of Ella's food range and cookbooks we were looking forward to eating at Plants. Unfortunately it really missed the mark. Juice drinks were very watery and lacked flavour, pancakes and porridge were very average and felt flavour combinations were off.
Read moreThe staff were also slow and unattentive despite the restaurant being quiet. Unfortunately would not return.

I love breakfast, lunch, and dinner here! The sourdough they have at dinner is sooo good just be careful not to fill up on it😄They also have a date and almond shake that makes for an amazing dessert.

I ordered harissa and garlic butterbeans with garlic & chili sautéed rainbow chard on pan-fried garlicky sourdough, for breakfast. It was delicious and the portion was bigger than I expected! The staff was exceptionally friendly

Over hyped - Edit
Tried the fried aubergine dish, vegetable fritters and smashed potatoes. Out of the three, the only thing that stood out was the dipping sauce that came with the potatoes. I was prepared to have my mind blown. Sadly that was not the case. It was also pretty expensive for what it is (flavor vs value).

Posh place where you won't be let in with kids - Edit
Came with a group of 3 adults and 2 kids. Got told the place was booked out although it most obviously wasn't. Guess we weren't posh enough and had kids on top!

Deliciously Ella - Edit
Having been an avid fan of the Deliciously Ella cookbooks for years, I’ve finally got round to visiting this place. I went at lunchtime and had the roasted cauliflower with a broccoli side dish, cooked to perfection with loads of natural flavour and decent size portions that left me feeling full.

I went there for breakfast and had an oat cappuccino plus a Creamy Greens smoothie. I really loved the smoothie - it was indeed very creamy and smooth but would have just wished for it to be a bigger portion size (as a follower of Ella and her App I found the portions in her smoothie recipes to be much bigger).

Shopping break! - Edit
Popped in for something to eat and a coffee, it's so near to Bond St/Oxford St so very handy. We had the tomato falafel, hummus, and turmeric roasted cauliflower. Loved it. Feels like healthy clean eating, and will go back next time I go shopping there.

Went for a late lunch. The place is cosy and the staff very friendly. We had the porcini, smoked dill and potato soup and the crispy tempura aubergine. Both were superbly well prepared and really flavourful! Really pleasant surprise.

Maybe we had too high expectations.. - Edit
We booked for breakfast, it was 3 savoury options and 4 sweet and we aren’t into sweets so had beans and mushrooms. Both came with ‘pan fried bread’ which seemed nice but was absolutely oil dripping like fried in too cold oil. It seemed like a nice seedy bread but not edible. Mushrooms were a bit cold, but tasty. I’m sad to only give 4* but it just didn’t impress us, that’s even ignoring the cost…

Very nice food. Must book - Edit
Finally managed to try Plants. It’s always booked up and I never have a reservation. Got lucky after waiting at an outside table. The staff is just lovely. I had a kale Caesar salad (no romaine if that’s your preference) and it was delicious. Plenty of dressing. Nice mixture of textures and the kale was very well massaged. Location is unbeatable.
