Heerlijk! - Edit
Wat een fantastische plek. Waar vegan eten soms wat te licht is, is het hier absoluut niet het geval. Helaas kwamen we daarom niet aan de toetjes toe. Maar daar komen we zeker voor terug.

Lovely Breakfast place - Edit
This was the best and closest place where to have a nice breakfast close to my office’s place. Only a few minutes walk and the interior is really fancy.
Read moreThe waitresses are super friendly and make sure you enjoy your time there.
The breakfast menu is not very big but it has everything you’d fancy: muesli with yoghurt, warmly porridge or pancakes.
The porridge is very good, the perfect combi for a comfy start in the day during a cold day. It could be topped with some additional fresh fruits (banana and seasonal fruits) though. The pancakes are also nice looking, very fluffy and taste good. However, the portion could be improved in my opinion.
The cappuccinos are very good nicely balance between the coffee and the whipped milk (almond). However, the match latte, was unfortunately not to my liking. I guess it was not well measured. It had a very strange grassy flavor.
But overall experience, big thumb up!
I will definitely come back to try out the Lunch menu.

Finally a big kale salad in London! - Edit
We ate there twice on a recent trip, we went without a reservation and they were fully booked but they were able to seat us at the little bar. While there’s lots of vegan food in London, a lot of it is not healthy so to find a big kale salad (loaded with winter squash, oyster mushrooms and sourdough croutons) as a main was a dream. The sourdough bread, all the veggies, everything was delish albeit a tad rich (lots of nuts and nut butters). We went back for dinner (with a res). The service was nice and efficient and it’s a lovely little spot. It is on the pricier side but worth every penny. On the way to the bathroom downstairs, you pass by the kitchen which was calm and clean, with boxes of beautiful produce all around.

Expensive and underwhelming - Edit
I’ve visited Plants twice when I’ve been in London, hoping that the food would live up to the rest of the experiences I’ve had with the brand — but each time I’ve been pretty disappointed. The food has been bland and small-portioned, service has been standoffish, and the bill just doesn’t reflect the experience. I wish I could love this place — maybe three time’s the charm?

Expensive, but good healthy food - Edit
On my last London trip this was probably my best eating experience. Ordered the pea courgette risotto and seasonal mushroom salad. As for the risotto it was very yummy (I asked for less salt as restaurants normally use a lot which was a good choice) and I appreciate that they make their own stock (so many places uses [censored] bought stuff!). For the salad I really enjoyed that it was a normal, healthy portion of leaves and not just like three salad leaves (though for 13.5 euros everything else would have been wild - more on that further down). Asked for the dressing on the side and barely used it because it was quite heavy and the salad was lovely as it was (though if you're into fatty dressings then you would like it because it had clean ingredients [almonds, miso, ACV, maple syrup and extra virgin olive oil]). My only concern with the food quality is that the mushrooms were a little oily for my taste, but overall it was nice.
Read moreIn general the food is mainly whole foods which is pleasant (though they do use oil and refined rice - would have been even better without that). What I did miss on the menu was a dessert without processed sugar (they all had coconut sugar), especially as it feels like their jam to have at least one thing sweetened with only dates or bananas/ similar. Was also disappointed that they didn't serve filtered water (you could only purchase it on bottle which isn't very sustainable). Neither am I sure it was all organic.
The area was nice and light and the staff really helpful (both in the restaurant and when replying to my email before hand). My biggest concern was probably the price - I paid equivalent to 40 euros for a risotto and a side salad (no drink). If it had been a fancy risotto like fresh truffle it would have been a little more reasonable, but for peas it felt like way too much and the same goes for leaves and mushrooms. They did give out a free cookie with the bill, but it contained caffeine and there wasn't an alternative so that didn't make me feel better.
Still, as I said, one of the best dinner I had and I would return, but very pricey.

Absolutely Delicious!! - Edit
Such a wonderful way to begin the day! An almond milk latte with a dash of maple syrup, a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice, and vanilla pancakes with strawberries. Light, fluffy, and just the right amount.
Read moreI purchased some granola, chocolate bars, and a few other goodies to go. The original granola tops my list! I wish I could order it for delivery to the U.S.

Lovely place to dine with fairly unique menus - Edit
The venue is quite small with some outdoor seating, booths, and tables - these are close together so quite intimate with your neighbours if the place is busy! The menu changes I believe seasonally - this time I visited in Summer 2022, the portion sizes were a lot more reasonable for the price you pay compared to Autumn 2021, which is an improvement. I find the sides and starters/nibbles more exciting and tasty than the main course options. I ordered the smashed potatoes and the mushrooms as a main; and this was a large, tasty portion size with the perfect amount of flavour. The staff were super friendly although it was a little slow when it was the peak time. The main downside to the restaurant for me is the price - I'd say it's more for special occasions than getting a casual bite to eat.

Average - Edit
We chose to have breakfast and booked as it can be difficult to get seats at breakfast time. I ordered a long black and was pleasantly surprised how big the cup was. It was a nice coffee. I also ordered vanilla pancakes. The pancakes were 3 small pancakes with syrup and roasted strawberries. I thought the pancakes were a little heavy and dry in terms of texture. They could have been better. My partner had the sourdough with avocado and the bread to avocado ratio seemed a bit off. It was fine, but expensive and I’d expected better.

Rude service, decent food - Edit
Came here as an American Happy Cow Ambassador and asked for seating for myself and children, was chided for not having a reservation even though the people in front of us did not have one either and were not treated that way. The server finally agreed to seat us outside and told us “we are short staffed so the food will take awhile and this is all you can get,” handing us a very small menu. The food was relatively good with some us getting Cesar salad, potatoes, strawberry shortcake, and the stew. It was fairly expensive for the portions and quality, pretentious even though they didn’t need to be. We were very nice and explained we were visiting, very hungry, and that we needed to feed the kids- but the server made it clear they didn’t want a large party. Next will be trying a Michelin restaurant and hoping for better karma!

Yummy food but small portions & expensive - Edit
Came once for breakfast and another time for dinner. Breakfast was overall really yummy and not too bad of a price considering the area (Mayfair). Came another time for dinner and was shocked about how small and expensive the portions were. Considering how much you’re spending, the staff could definitely be warmer. Overall, it was nice to try but will not be coming again.
