bury me with a jar of torched and pressed sauce - Edit
if i could eat one meal for the rest of my life it would be the torches and pressed roll, specially from the $27 bottomless menu because it's better when i get to eat ten rolls for $27 just to prove a point.

I'll be back to try everything else on the menu! - Edit
My friend and I had a great dining experience at PLANTA Queen! The food, service, and vibes were spot on. I started with the melon rosé cold-pressed juice. It's exactly what I wanted; refreshing, balanced and not too sweet. I don't drink, but my friend does. Apparently, on Wednesdays, they have half off all bottles of wine. That's a pretty great deal!
Read moreMy friend and I ordered a bunch of small plates to share. We favored the crispy rice roll, smashed cucumber, and I have a new obsession with the unagi eggplant nigiri sushi. I liked it so much that I ordered it again before I left. The truffle was heavenly. The rice and eggplant were both cooked to perfection. It was salty, creamy, and one of the most perfect bites of food I've ever had.
We weren't impressed with the chick'n fried mushroom bao buns. It ate on the dry side. Also, the potato dumplings fell short for me as they seemed one note. However, the coconut lemongrass broth they were in was scrumptious! I could have ordered a bowl of just that and been happy! However, for the price, the dumplings should have been phenomenal too.
I'll definitely be back. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu!

Go! - Edit
Really cool to see a bigger all vegan spot with a giant kitchen. Love smaller places usually, but gives more people access to incredible vegan food. Good vibes, friendly staff, and tasty food. Would like to see just a smudge bigger portions or even out the number as many people split evenly (odd numbers make it harder to decide who gets last bite when you are with your partner). The noodles and rice options are portioned larger and good to share with 2-3 people. One of the servers (Babs) was so nice and that went a long way to complete the enjoyable experience.

Hopping, happening, overrated - Edit
A group of 4 had dinner at Planta on. Sat night, and all were underwhelmed. Portions were meager, some were bland, others gloopy. It is a very busy, pleasant, and happening place, which is surprising for a vegan joint, but not uncommon in the neighborhood.

Delicious!! - Edit
The food and drinks here are TOP NOTCH. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and devoured everything we ordered. The spicy tuna roll with watermelon tuna is amazing. The spinach and shiitake dumplings had a little too much spinach and not enough mushroom flavor for us, but the sauce on it was great. The bao bun was INCREDIBLE. It had a perfectly plush soft bun and super crispy mushroom, balanced out with hoisin and cucumber pickles. I could eat a million of them. The dan dan noodles were not my favorite (just not my favorite flavor profile), but my boyfriend loved them. It was very nice they added coconut milk to mellow out the spice. Besides the bao bun, the star of the night was the bang bang broccoli. It was lightly battered, perfectly crispy and cooked well, and the peanut ginger sauce on top was to DIE for. It was peanuty, gingery, spicy, and crunchy. Overall everything was super delicious. The one flaw is the classic Manhattan style seating, and the loud club-like music. They really pack you in there, and I could barely hear my boyfriend who was sitting right across from me. If they toned down the music a little it would be perfect!

Best vegan food I have ever had - Edit
PLANTA Queen has some of the best food I have ever had and it happens to be entirely vegan. The “tuna” sushi tasted exactly like actual tuna but was made from watermelon. My friends (veg and non-veg) all adored it as well.

Delicious food but overpriced - Edit
Beautiful place, great service, super delicious food. Must try their Caesar salad, cheesy broccoli, mushroom dumplings, baby gem salad and the boss tonic👌 Been there twice and loved all the food but way too expensive for the size of their portions.

Not the best vegan food I’ve eaten but pretty good nonetheless. Gyoza was spicy! Eggplant nigiri was smoky and silky. The best was bang bang broccoli.

Had a great time at Planta Queen! Friendly and prompt service, yummy cocktails and a great menu. We had the cauliflower tots, bang bang broccoli, and the potato truffle dumplings to start. All were a hit. We also shared the Truffle Fried Rice and the Singapore Noodles. Everything was full of flavor and very satisfying. Would highly recommend!

Wow - Edit
Truly phenomenal. I got the Dan Dan noodles as well as two other dishes whose names I can’t remember, but one was breaded broccoli and the other was Japanese potatoes with kimchi. I must say the food was top notch, some of the best I’ve had in recent memory. I’ll be back soon.

We got the baked crab roll, the dragon roll, the watermelon “tuna” and unagi eggplant nigiri, the truffle fried rice, and the Dan Dan noodles (the star). I highly highly recommend the Dan Dan noodles. They were incredible. Everything was great. The nigiri was good but a bit weird texture.

My favorite go to for vegans and non vegans alike - Edit
You can’t go wrong at Planta Queen. It’s lovely although sometimes too busy, like on all you can eat roll night Mondays, but it’s also a great lunch spot. The torched and pressed is my favorite roll - avocado miso and truffle prepared to perfection and melt in your mouth. Crispy Rice is my close second favorite thing on the menu. My nonveganwatermelonloathingsushiloving daughter loves the madeoutofwatermelon sushi. The General D cauliflower, bang bang broccoli, and the bao sliders are a must have so go with a group. Great cocktails and mocktails and desserts including a chocolate brownie topped with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Had an incredible birthday dinner here! Was able to select the prixe fixe menu and try many different options. The bang bang broccoli packs a ton of flavor and the Bao sliders were tasty and unique. For dessert the chocolate ice cream and matcha cheesecake did not disappoint however their brownie is surely the best vegan dessert I’ve ever tasted. Restaurant has great ambience and service is good! Pricey but perfect for special occasions! I cannot wait to return
