Good spot! - Edit
It was nice to have an actual veggie burger! Seems like most places these days just do a beyond/impossible burger, but the patty made of actual vegetables was a refreshing throwback.
Read moreThe staff was a bit inattentive however. Our fries came with cheese on them, and our coffee order was off the next day. So be careful!
Edit: This place was definitely a lifesaver during our week on Key West! I also recommend the veggie charcuterie and the truffle pizza with the vegan cheese swap.

Pretty good - Edit
I was expecting everything to be delicious and was a little let down but it was still very good. I did appreciate that the veggie burger was house made and it was pretty good but expensive. I enjoyed the carrot cake just wish they had the vegan key lime pie !

The veggie burger was good, tasted healthier than most vegan burgers, the carrot cake was pretty good and believe was sweetened with dates which was great , only place that offered vegan food in key west and would go again

Lots of options! - Edit
Went here a few times on my visit to Key West. LOVED the vegan pancakes. Ordered with a side of fresh fruit & breakfast potatoes. It was enough to share! Big portions. Loved the full cafe menu as well as the vegan treats in the bakery. It’s been so long since I had a danish & they had vegan fruit pastries. Could have eaten every meal there honestly.

Wish we came here sooner! - Edit
Plenty of vegan options. I couldn’t resist the bakery case so I started with a heavenly vegan carrot cake. Then We had the margherita pizza with vegan cheese and spinach gyoza dumplings. Both were delicious. Knowledgeable staff.

DELICIOUS! - Edit
Easily the best food we had in Key West. We got the blackened tofu tacos, tofu vindaloo. Key lime sangria was pretty tasty and then we had a big slice of chocolate cake for dessert. Service was also fantastic. We walked a decent way to get there but it was totally worth it !

Meh - Edit
I ordered the Watermelon, Cucumber & Lime juice. It was really funky and tasted like maybe the watermelon went bad. I had the same drink from another place the day before and it was delicious. The Blueberry Quinoa pancakes were super bland and I’m not sure that they were even cooked through. The service was not very great either.

Great tacos and baked goods - Edit
Fantastic blackened tofu tacos - vegan cheese available. The mushroom pizza looked good too. Their selection of vegan baked goods was impressive, too. Vegan breakfast is hard to come by in the upper and middle keys so we bought a bunch of their baked goods for breakfast the next day.

We ate here 3 times during our 4 days in Key West. The pancakes were amazing, as were other food options. Casual with plenty of outdoor seating.

Get the cakes! - Edit
Came here for lunch. Plenty of vegan options. Had the dumplings, a salad, and the vegan shakshuka. Food wasn’t amazing but perfectly passable. However the cakes were absolutely phenomenal! We tried all three vegan cakes (carrot, chocolate, key lime cheesecake) and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. They’re a bit pricey though at $9 a pop.

Nice vegan food - Edit
We had the Feel Good Bowl with Tofu instead of egg which was very tasty. They said they have fresh juices and then served an orange juice that looked and tasted like the one out of a carton... I would not recommend that one. The staff was friendly but when we asked to sit in the sun because we were cold they wouldn‘t let us because the table is for more people. Even though it was made out of one small and one big table which you could easily separate. All in all I would recommend this place.

SO FLIPPING GOOD - Edit
i got the mushroom truffle pizza after not having a tasty vegan meal in a min and i died and went to heaven. it was SO FREAKING GOOD. the mojito was tasty too. environment is so chill and nice. i asked about a vegan key lime pie and was told “we can’t make a key lime pie vegan bc of the cream” so i’m kinda concerned about all the ppl saying bc they got a vegan key lime pie hahahah. there were a handful of marked vegan treats tho including choc cake, carrot cake, and blueberry muffin

Perfect atmosphere, great bar, indoor and outdoor seating, vegan pastries, and many vegan options. We ate here every day during our week long visit. Can't wait to go back. If you're looking for vegan food, you must check out Moondog.

Decent Food and Service - Edit
Just off of Duval Street is this cute spot with great charm and art. I think we just happened to be there at a tough time as service was slow. Our food ranged from good (spinach gyoza dumplings appetizer and vindaloo) to okay (vegan pizza). We also got a vegan cookie to go.

Good vibes and plenty of vegan options 🥰 - Edit
Cute little place in Old Town, a short walk from the Hemingway House. Chill vibes, friendly staff and local artwork make for a great experience. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. While the food was a 3.5 or 4/5 for me, we really enjoyed our mimosas (we got the guava and watermelon). Delicious pancakes! Places like this make dining vegan in Key West a little easier to navigate. Thank you MoonDog!

You can order flatbread with vegan cheez! - Edit
The flatbreads here are very good and there are other plant-based options including a homemade veggie burger and salads. This is also one of the only places where you can buy 100% vegan baked goods. You can place an order ahead and get a full cake (I ordered a vegan carrot cake for a birthday). Being in a heavy tourist area, the service can be hit or miss.

Moondog well worth a visit. - Edit
Oh my, delicious vegan options. Many options. This place does not soak the food in oils nor use too much salt like so many Fo. Our selection especially blackened tofu with vegetables was huge and so satisfying. We had enough left over for breakfast the next day. Huge portions. Worth the walk.

Disappointed - Edit
We walked there last night for the Vegan key lime pie but the waitresses said they don't have any. She said there is key lime cheesecake for the cafe only but they were out of it. She didn't seem very interested in helping us at all.

Great view and ambiance - Edit
This is the sister company of The Cafe, who has more vegan choices. Moondog offered good vegan choices. We had the pizza which was very authentic, spinach pot stickers and the poke bowl with tofu. For dessert, their chocolate cake did not disappoint. Their is a bakery inside. Outside was a nice patio with great views. The restaurant is quaint.

Ok place for taking non veg - Edit
Went with a non vegan friend. She loved her dish. It was nice to see clearly marked vegan options. The food was good but the experience was ruined for me by the constant smell of seafood. Overall not a terrible place to go with a mixed group, though.

Great little place - Edit
Very cute restaurant off the beaten path in Key West. It was nice to have a few vegan options for dinner. The quinoa salad was delicious and my husbands stir fry was equally good. My son who is not vegan said it was the best burger he’s had in a long time. We will go for breakfast at some point this weekend as well! Thank you Moon Dog for some great vegan options!
