Vegan Key Lime Pie & more - Edit
Finally somewhere that offers the opportunity to have vegan key lime pie (a key west staple). They also have other vegan friendly desserts that change over time (but the dark chocolate cookies seem to be a staple and are a must try).

This restaurant is indoor/outdoor with super friendly servers and it’s right next to the Hemingway house. I usually come here multiple times during my KW trips. Highly recommend.

I went to Moondog 4 times during my 1 day Key West trip haha (3 days if you also count arrival and departure). The pastries I tried were the key lime pie and the raspberry and key lime turnover and both were incredible!! I also had the tacos another night, the pumpkin spice latte, and the strawberry matcha which were all also delicious. Serving sizes were generous and staff were helpful and friendly. Would go back every day for the rest of my life if I could, if you’re in key west you can’t miss this vegan key lime pie.

Photos don’t do this place justice. Sure, they sell some non vegan things but the vegan options are delicious. The only place in the keys with Vegan Key Lime Pie - sensational. Also raspberry and key lime turnovers - delicious. Add blackened tofu to any salad. It’s amazing. You might have to wait a few mins to get a seat but it’s well worth it.

Everything we had was so good. But the highlight was the raspberry key lime turnover. Insane how good it was. Also loved the Chocolate Strawberry Fun Cake. Any excuse to have edible glitter.

This is our favorite restaurant in Key West. There are multiple vegan options either for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are clearly marked on the menu. My favorites are the Feel Good Bowl (breakfast or lunch), the Green Monster veggie burger (any time), the vegan Quinoa Blueberry Pancakes (breakfast), and the vegan key lime torte. There are other options as well. There is frequently a line, but service is fast and they usually seat people quickly. This place has gotten much more popular in the past couple of years.

Food here was great, clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options. Service was very accommodating when asked about the menu. Tofu tacos were FANTASTIC, I ate all of my food with no issues at all.

There are a few marked vegan dishes on the menu. We found them eager to modify one of their non vegan egg dishes by subbing tofu scramble. They did a great job. They mostly obeyed our no oil request-we didn’t expect perfection on this. They correctly put all sauces on the side. The salad I ordered was beautiful. The decor and service: very pleasing. Highly recommend.

I wasn’t that interested based on the menu but after going here I actually very much recommend it. Skip the tacos though. Pancakes were great even though they were gluten free. Burger was decent. Definitely order the deserts. Loved the charcuterie.

They had plenty of vegan options to choose from. Everything we ordered was delicious. Hubby ordered a veggie burger that was really good and pretty big. I had tofu tacos that were delicious as well. My portion was rather small though. I ate all 3 which I rarely ever do when eating tacos.

Went here twice on a quick trip to a key West. First popped in one afternoon to grab the vegan Key Lime tart then went back the next morning for breakfast and had the blueberry quinoa pancakes (and maybe bought another tart too) freaking delicious.
