Standard Thai lunch buffet style. Has several pre-cooked buffet dishes as well as khao soi and noodle soup kept warm in big pots. Also has snacks and desserts. Papaya salad is made to order. Sometimes packaged salad for purchase. Jul 2019 reported using honey in kombucha. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-5:00pm.

Okay - Edit
They've got a good selection on the buffet. Our plates were okay, but for me way too salty.

Pretty good! - Edit
I enjoyed the veg spring rolls. The veg fish was not quite to my liking. Everything was very affordable and the space is clean. I didn’t love that an elephant sanctuary where you can touch, feed and bathe elephants was advertised all over the store.

Yummy veg buffet - Edit
Lovely food, some spicey, some not, nice spring rolls & tofu 'fish'. You can get a plate of brown rice with different veg dishes, spring rolls, wonton & more for 50-90 baht depending on what you take (I do always order a lot!). They usually have a choice of 8-10 different dishes, often including a potato-based curry, a green bean dish, a green aubergine dish, some kind of noodle dish & stir-fried greens. The portions are generous & everything seems to be vegan except the noodle dishes which I didn't order as they appeared to be egg noodles but you'd have to check. They also serve Khao Soi hot, in a separate pot away from the buffet, which is usually made with egg noodles. Water is available free of charge.

In the centre! - Edit
They do have good location - convenient.
Read moreThere are many choices - for rice with 3 items I have paid 65 baht.
Nevertheless I did not like what I chose😅 rice and mushrooms were tasty, but pumpkin and ala tofu - not.

Cheap Vegan Lunch - Edit
Small mom and pop shop that sells Thai and Chinese vegan entrees from rice to noodle dishes.
Read moreWe tried their Khao Soi Yen Tofu Noodles (both were about 40 baht) which they assembled in front of us. They rely on tofu and mock meats which is a treat every now and then. I enjoyed both of these noodle dishes although they weren't the best I've had in town.
For the price you pay and convenience, it's a haven for vegans and somewhere worthwhile to check out.

Best Curry and super cheap vegan - Edit
All dishes are vegan, super Curry is not spicy, but others meal you should ask. We visited Ming Kwas three times. Good choose was also tofu stir fried Banana leaves. All restaurant is Vegan, but some packed cakes are with eggs. Restaurant is located in wide center of Chiang Mai. A Lot of local also go here for a meal. We also buy dry bananas as snack.

Very cheap food - Edit
A standard Thai eatery with very low prices. Taste is good and all cooked food should be vegan, but beware of the products on shelves, many of them contain animal products. Food gets completely cold in the afternoon. Tofu with mung beans was delicious.

Local - Edit
Came here for lunch. It’s buffet style with rice and you can add sides. We got a glass noodle side and some greens. Decent but Ming Zhen is better. Cost was 40thb for rice with 2 sides. The price for the plate lunch isn’t really posted. You go up after you eat and pay. Has water. Cash only

Great rotation of dishes different every day - Edit
You can order off the menu or get rice and mains. I usually get 3 mains with no rice and it’s 45 baht and so much food. Plus free water.

Amazing vegan Restaurant - Edit
Apparently there is no honey in this food, and the ladies assure me that it is all vegan. This is the best restaurant I can find in Chiang Mai. The food is much cheaper and tastier than anywhere (and believe me, I've looked). This style of vegetarian buffet is qiire common around Thailand, and usually just slightly cheaper. However, considering the hiked tourist prices in Chiang Mai, this is really good value. I couldn't recommend it more. Note: This is buffet style, but the food is dished up at your request, then the price is calculated. I've paid between 45 and 85 baht, depending on the portion size.

fantastically friendly - Edit
I popped in here for a quick bite before visiting Wat Phra Singh. Was greeted so warmly by the staff, they seem genuinely happy to see new customers. Got the Khao Soi, served from a big hot pot for 35 baht (I think). You add your own herbs, pickles, chilli and other condiments from the table near the front counter. It was hearty and comforting with chunks of carrot, potato, and mock chicken. The fried noodles on top could have been a little crisper but the soft noodles in the soup were nice and silky. In the late afternoon there were quite a few tourists eating at big wooden benches and a few nuns came in for takeaway. A popular place for a hearty meal, watching the world go by on the bustling street outside.
