So good!! - Edit
Wasn’t totally sure what to expect - but everything we had (peach fall gazoz to drink, the bao, chaat, and jianbing) was great and super flavorful! The service was great too. Would love to return!

Unique vegan find! - Edit
You won’t find your usual vegan burger of buffalo cauliflower here. This place has a unique menu with foods you’ve probably never tried from cuisines from around the world. We split a mango lassi drink (which I have never seen vegan before) and chaat nachos, which were a daily special. Everything had delightful flavor profiles! Definitely worth a try, just be prepared to try new foods! Staff was super helpful and even helped me modify the spice level of the nachos so I could handle it.

MAZU: Where Flavor Takes the Spotlight - Edit
Stepping into MAZU is like entering a culinary theater where every dish deserves a standing ovation. From the zesty Hummus and Falafel Platter to the umami-packed Yansu Mushrooms, each plate is a masterclass in flavor choreography. The Chocolate Pudding? A sweet sonnet. The Masala Chaat? A vegetarian revelation that could convert the staunchest carnivore (me).

MAZU doesn't just serve meals; it curates experiences that linger on your palate and in your memories. In a world of culinary understudies, MAZU is the headliner you didn't know you were waiting for. Bravo!

Tasty little find here - Edit
We found this restaurant and happy cow and it had lots of good reviews. The place did not disappoint. We’re here on a beautiful summer day and ate outside in the garden. It’s a quiet spot with a dozen or so tables and lots of greenery.
Read moreI started out with a wellness shot, which was delicious. My dining partner, and I split the falafel sandwich, dandan mian noodles, scallion, pancake, and chocolate pudding. Everything we had was delicious. A staff is very friendly. Counter service and they bring the food out to you. Water is served in a stainless steel urn with stainless steel cups. This place is a winner!

Adorable little cafe with great food! - Edit
This little eatery is 100% vegan and serves very delicious mediterranean style food. We ordered the Mazu Kati Roll and the Yansu Oyster mushrooms. The falafels in the Kati roll were very delicious and the fried oyster mushrooms were really good too. I do wish they served some kind of dipping sauce with the mushrooms, but we ended up adding them onto the Kati Roll and just folded it all up and ate it like a taco. Overall, the flavors were more unique than I’m used to for “Mediterranean”, but nonetheless, very satisfying and tasty. I felt like I was in another country eating something more authentic, rather than your typical Americanized version. 10/10!

Great mix of Taiwanese and South Indian - Edit
Mazu is closed for February, but this is a must stop in Yellow Springs. They have a great mix of Taiwanese and South Indian cuisine. The "Dan Dan Noodles" are a must try. The restaurant is small and it's super crowded on weekends, so expect a wait. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are moderate, and portions are on the smaller side.
