Labelled as vegan but aren’t - Edit
The staff was sooooo kind (can’t stress that enough). I asked for the allergen list and when I ordered the waitress asked what I needed the allergen list for. I said I was vegan and she proceeded to help me out and didn’t serve me the kimchi or coleslaw that comes as a starter. The only downside to this restaurant is the fact that some foods are labelled as vegan but are not actually vegan. They are vegetarian. Just be aware of that.

Thanks for this review, it's a shame the labelling is not correct. Can you remember which dishes that are labelled vegan are not actually vegan? I'll request to update the listing so that people are aware.

@jennyc32 I can’t remember off the top of my head which ones they were. However, they labelled some foods as “vegan” and then at the bottom it said that the label vegan was for vegetarians which was confusing. And then those options had allergens listed such as eggs and milk (and some crustaceans, so I’m assuming it had fish sauce). Additionally the dish named as ‘something’ “vegan…” (I can’t remember the name had egg listed as an allergen.

Thanks, I'll see what else I can find out and update the listing. It's a shame, it used to be a really good spot. Hope you enjoyed your time in Prague!

Yummy, lovely staff, clearly labeled vegan choices - Edit
We had vegan kimbab, pajeon, bibimbab and tteokbokki with mandu, it was all so good! Kimchi is with fish sauce but they brought us another salad as a side instead. It seems like the menu was updated because all options were clearly marked on the menu. Recommend! We came around 8 on a Sunday, it was not too full and food was there really fast :)

Menu is not clearly labelled but dishes were very good - Edit
The menu does not clearly label which dishes are vegan. The staff are able to help but if you’re an English speaker, there are some language constraints. The dishes were tasty. Worth trying.

Delicious! - Edit
I had the tofu bibimbap. I asked if it is vegan. I also got soup and appetizers - kimchi, cucumber and noodles. There was also broccoli but it probably had cheese in it. The food was very delicious!

Korean food with vegan options - Edit
I had the tofu bibimbap which wasn’t marked as vegan on the menu. The waitress told me it is vegan anyway. I haven’t tried anything else but I will make sure to come back and try more. The bibimbap was great and the service was really friendly as well.

Tasty but spicy - Edit
Just one option on the menu that was labelled as fully vegan but I think other things could be vegan or made vegan. Was very very spicy!

Excellent koran for a good value - Edit
Mamy offers a large selection of korean meals quite a few are vegan. The new menu does not show the broccolli sign as a plant based dish anymore but you can ask for the old menu to see (prices from the new menu applies) and it also has pictures of the meals. When ordering double check the dish is vegan as there was one that had the broccolli sign but the staff informed us it contained pork (mandu) and some more dishes that were vegan but didn't have the sign. The staff is knowledgable about veganism and are keen to help you pick a dish. You always get a free starter that contains kimchi and pickled onion and two more items that are not vegan. Again I recommend to check ahead. The smell of grilled meat didn't bother us at the time we went but you can ask to be seated upstairs where it shouldn't be that big of a deal. The meals are tasty, I recommend the bibimbap as it comes with an excellent miso soup or the tofu teriyaki for its rich flavour. I would't order the ssam again as it didn't have any perilla leaves just regular salad, not so much korean.

Great with non vegan friends/family - Edit
My family are non vegan so this was a great place for both of us all.
Read moreThere is written vegan with 3 dishes on the menu card, but when you check out the allergens (nummered next to the dish) there is more dishes that's vegan. You can ask for the allergens card and also a menu card with pictures to get a better idea of the food.
The atmosphere is young, relaxed and a touch of a modern feeling. The working staff all loved my baby nephew.
Korean food is known to be very spicy, be aware of that! It will balance out with a nice cold drink, rice and/or a salad.
Pros: Good with non vegans, authentic
Cons: Some foods are very spicy!!

Vegan-friendly? - Edit
I went there and asked for the separate vege/vegan menue but the waitress said they had none. She also could not point out to me which dishes are vegan, so i left without eating anything. Are they really vegan-friendly?

Terrible service - Edit
Waited 20 minutes to send back a noodle dish which was essentially cup noodles. Was told we'd be charged for it. Also never were served water despite ordering spicy food.

Nice food, not clearly marked - Edit
I had a very tasty and reasonably priced vegan sushi dish but I couldn't see any markings to show what was vegan so the waitress pointed things out to me. Not the end of the world, she was very helpful!

Not that good for the price - Edit
The food was ok but for the price I’d rather go to another place next time. Also, it was so cold inside the restaurant! And the place has many reservations at lunchtime. Vegan things are marked and the staff is nice tho

Major Yummies in the Tummies - Edit
Yes! Yes! Yes! I had to ask for vegan options... and they were like "What? Vegetarian?" Then the cook came out and gave us the hoedown on the vegan stuff. You just gotta say "I know you serve vegan food". This is just like what grandma used to make, expect my grandma isn't Korean and doesn't cook like this. Nonetheless you understand, yummy, soul, GOOD food! Get the fried tofu starter (tastes like French toast sticks/Minnesota State Fair Food) AND the veggie udon noodles (vegan of course). It will only let me do 4 stars, but it needs 5. COME HERE FELLOW VEGANS!

My first time eating Korean food - delicious! - Edit
We went this week whilst traveling at Prague to eat at Mamy with a big group of 11 people and had a table reservation for us, which was not really necessary since there was plenty of room downstairs anyway!
Read moreThey had alot of vegetarian / vegan options on the menu as well as meat dishes. It was not specified on the menu which ones of the vegetarian dishes were also vegan, but they spoke English very well so we could just ask. Very friendly staff and great food, would definitely go again and taste more stuff!
Pros: Plenty of options, Friendly staff, A lot of seats
Cons: Vegan dishes not specified on the menu
