Lovely vegan cafe - Edit
I loved the Buddha Bowl and the falafel wrap we got. The atmosphere was also really nice with outdoor seating. There’s also an English menu. Would love to go and try their other items next time!

Definitely a favorite - Edit
This is one of those places that you just know is going to be a favorite after only having walked in the door. Had the place recommended by several locals. The space is warm and welcoming and has a second floor over the bar that overlooks the rest of the cafe. The staff are friendly and the vibe is down to earth and relaxing. The food is terrific, with lots of raw options: lots of “bowls” (buddha bowl, falafel bowl, kale salad bowl etc) juices, smoothies and smoothie bowls, raw cakes and more.
Read moreWe ended up sitting here enjoying the atmosphere and tasty food for several hours. (but that’s typical us when we enjoy ourselves hehe)
During summer it has outdoor seating through at the back.
Pros: Raw food options , Spacious , Great vibe

Best Restaurant Experience I've Had Since Going Vegan - Edit
Where do I start about this place? The atmosphere is amazing (good music, lots of people, nice interior); the food is beautiful and delicious; and there are so many options. And oh, everything is vegan. This is the best restaurant experience I've had since I went vegan. Left with a smile on my face, and I sure will come back for more. Thank you, Mahalo.

I love that I can order anything from the menu, no need to read the ingredients. The food tastes great too.

Overcrowded - Edit
My bf and I went to Mahalo for a Sunday lunch, mainly because all other places in the area were closed. The food was decent but nothing special, in fact my hot chocolate was a joke, with hardly any hint of cocoa in it... The atmosphere in general was irritating because the place was packed and there were like 10 people queuing to order food to the point the front door was open half of the time, which made me sit there in a coat to keep warm. Imho, the place has too many tables for the space available ;-)
Read moreIt was also not easy to get when the food was ready as all order numbers were shouted once and in Swedish, which was hard to follow in all that clamour. I missed ours by a few minutes even though I speak the language xD

Delicious!!👌 - Edit
I ate lunch with my mom here. I really enjoyed my plate, a cold salad with tofu, Brown rice a lot of vegetables and stuff. Mom didn’t like her falafel that much but that was just because she does not like creamy stuff (the hummus) or koriander. She also has a stupid opinion about tofu.. But anywas I think that she acctually would like my plate and i probably would be an even bigger fan of hers👌
Read moreIt was very noisy and we waited a pretty long time.. I still think I’ll come back but maybe I’ll have breakfast then.
Pros: Good food, 100% vegan

Plenty of vegan options! - Edit
Hälsocafét is a nice, vibrant café which opened in October 2015. The interior is light and Scandinavian and consists of two floors. My friend and I had our first acai bowl here and it was very tasty and nicely presented. Fresh and filling although quite pricey at 75 SEK. However the ingredients aren't super cheap (especially acai berries).
Read moreI'll definitely be back and look forward to trying their fika (Swedish for coffee and cake).
Updated from previous review Jan 2016:
Since my last review I've been back twice to enjoy their hot food. First dish I had was deliciously marinated tempeh (locally produced!) with fresh potatoes and salad. Today I had the burger plate which consists of a Vegme soy burger served between two leafs of lettuce, salad, sweet potato fries and a nice chili mayo. I reckon they could lower the price (139 kr) during lunch hours but considering the place was packed they don't seem to have any problems bringing in customers. The portions are quite generous though. Next time I'll try one of the cakes!
Please note: EVERYTHING is now 100% vegan!

We were there for breakfast and it was most delicious. Staff is very nice and the variety of food is very good. Especially the raw blueberry cheesecake is amazing! Quite pricy but definitely worth it.

Fresh and tasty food - Edit
The food here is nice and you have the option of sitting inside or outside, however, the system of food delivery is not great. There is no table service so you order and pay at the counter. You will however only get a receipt, which means that if you are sitting outside, you either have to wait inside, or run back and forth to see if your food is ready. Other than that the place is nice and they have a lot of different types of dishes to offer.

four stars just for the brownie! - Edit
This place is a bit posh, expensive and the days menu so far up the wall with bad lighting reflecting off it that l could hardly read what was on offer. But the Earl grey was good and the cakes also. In fact I'd pop back in here just to have the chocolate brownie again and maybe something savoury next time too. Nice big outdoor space up the stairs out the back but they are a bit slow clearing tables - probably understaffed - and in my experience Stockholmians do not clear their own tables!

Lovely backyard and nice food - Edit
I had their cheesecake and a mylkshake. The cheesecake was really good but the mylkshake wasn't anything special. I'm definitely going to back to try their food and more of their desserts though.
Read moreThe staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice although it can get a bit noisy when there are a lot of people in the café. A very positive thing is their "backyard" where you can sit during the summer if you want some peace and quiet.
The prices are what you can expect from this kind of café in Stockholm i.e. quite expensive.
Pros: Tasty dessert, Friendly staff, Nice outdoor seating arrangement
Cons: Noisy during busy hours

Lovely place, nice atmosphere, super friendly staff and the acai mixed bowl etc was deeeelicious. Bit pricy but this is what to expect in Stockholm and since it's in a very good location as well I guess it makes sense. Highly recommended!! Do not hesitate!
