Read moreThe first time we came here we just had a cake and coffee. I am grateful for the hot tip in a review here on happy cow that there are free refills on the filter coffee as it was much needed (mugs are pretty small). The second time we came for breakfast, and both enjoyed our choices. The decor is very cute. It seems to be a very popular place, luckily there is more seating upstairs. I would definitely recommend and return if I was in the area again. I think there is another location too.

Cozy place and delicious food - Edit
The place is cosy to sit and some people were also working on their laptops having a coffee. The staff is friendly and there is free water and tea. I choose a seasonal dish, a bowl with cale and baked vegetables. Was delicious. I would like to come again for the scrambled tofu sandwich which looked very delicious.

For creative, healthy drinks and snacks this place is fantastic. We found the food to be just 'OK' - the black rice was so crunchy it was almost inedible and them scrambled tofu was nice in terms of texture but flavourless.

This is one of the absolute best places in Stockholm. I've been here many times and always have a nice time and nice food/drinks. Queer friendly. Inside and outside seats.

Smoothie bowl, pink haze base, loco topping and extra banana (144kr). Very nice in the summer heat! Also had the filter coffee (44kr) and it was surprisingly wonderful! Nice company with my friend Filippa.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Mahalo and loved both dishes I tried. The tofu scramble on toast was packed with flavor and beautifully seasoned, served with roasted cherry tomatoes that were great. Everything looked as good as it tasted and the cozy vibe made it even better. A must visit in Stockholm for a colorful and satisfying vegan brunch.

I was here for some breakfast with some friends. I had the Baked Oats with blueberry crumble. Some elements where good, but there was also some strange and weird tasting "lumps" in the dish.
Read moreMy friends don't seem to complain about their dishes (a smoothie bowl and a breakfast in bread), so I might have been unlucky with mine.
I will give it a chance again, especially because I had a great lunch at one of their other locations. And the staff is nice.
Another con is that they play this annoying, default "good vibe" pop music that sounds like YouTube commercial stock-music, and which you can't escape nowadays. Why not just play some calm piano music, or not play anything at all?

... not really bowling me over either. I enjoyed my breakfast visit here. The staff are friendly, the space is nice, and it's all vegan. Personally, I prefer savoury breakfast choices over sweet ones, so I picked the Breakfast in Bread. Tasted okay, but I'm not sure if the scramble is supposed to be lukewarm. I feel it'll taste better hot. I'll try this again and ask for it to be made hot.

Lovely locale, lovely staff, good presentation, decent ingredients but it seems there is no trained chef or cook in the kitchen. For the dish ‘Breakfast in Bread’ the toast was uncoloured and cold (in fact, totally white and soft and cold), the scrambled tofu was soggy and almost cold. It became clear they do ‘prep’ in batches without preparing each dish fresh and don’t seem to bother warming up various dish elements before serving. It was inedible - (almost) cold scrambled tofu on actual cold toast. Despite a lovely ensemble and presentation - it was very disappointing that the kitchen’s lack of care and attention to basic standards ruined the dish.

The presentation and ingredients themselves were great - fantastic additions and ensemble - but again a lazy kitchen served pre-cooked and borderline cold food - pancakes are best served fresh off the griddle. It’s a basic. But it seems they are foregoing the basics for the sake of kitchen convenience.
Everything is else was so good about this place it’s just disappointing that they are freely taking short cuts in the kitchen which really diminished each dish and its potential.
Also, for people who are coffee gourmands you might want to adjust expectations. They use excellent coffee beans - however - again, the lack of attention to detail prevails. They don’t seem to know how to brew coffee at the correct temperature - it was burned.
Gourmet vegans with international standards might be disappointed.

Love the american pancakes and loaded fries. Super disappointing açaí bowls though. Wish the menu was a bit more diverse, although I’m a pretty picky eater. Big spot with lots of seating — gets crowded on weekends but a nice place to hang out and work on weekdays when there’s plenty of space.

Great vegan spot in Södermalm! Really fresh, healthy food in a really cute cafe! The whole place has a really lovely vibe. I had the vegan burger which was super tasty and had lots of flavour! Wish i’d had more time to try more of the menu! Highly recommend if you’re in Stockholm.

We went for brunch. One of the children wanted the baked oats but there where nowhere to be found on the menu via QR code. He had the pancakes instead and even though he did not like the green on the strawberries, it was lovely. The yuzu tempé salad was nice but needed more dressing.

it’s always nice finding a fully vegan place to eat at. i had the breakfast in bread which was good but not extraordinary and also really oily. it was nice sitting outside in the backyard though. filter coffee was good as well.
