I had their tropical (special) burger with fries and onion rings and it was great! A bit much sauce on the fries/onion rings for my liking, but I guess it's difficult to get an amount that everyone is happy with... (I know could get sauce on the side but want to avoid plastic waste)

Really tasty, the only thing I would recommend is that the waffle in the waffle n chicken burger was maybe crispier, it fell apart as I was eating it, but it was still really tasty! The staff were also very kind and polite.

Love LOTF for the very odd guilty treat. It is definitely not gonna get you int those summer shorts, but who doesn’t need a greasy indulgent meal at least a few times a year.

Amazing!! A bit expensive but it's delicious. Their normal patties are better than their beyond burger versions, so don't bother spending the extra money.

The clue is in the name. If you want to be healthy, stay away. For indulgence, go for it. I had a fish burger, which was decent, and a halal snack pack (fries vegan beef vegan cheese sirracha hummus),which was amazing. I had it during two visits, no way I'd be able to eat all of that food in one go. The place seems to be pretty popular with the locals too (I was under the impression that lots of customers had no idea their meat is plant based). They have a variety of burgers, including Beyond Burger. Worth checking out, especially for those who miss their carnivorous junk food days.

Friendly and conveniently has some seating. Have tried Melbourne hot dog, chips, nuggets parma burger and oreo cookie thick shake. The thick shake needed more blending.

turn left to the big gold clock, go past the clock to the far left enter Knox lane ( semi outdoor lane going towards the State Library) about 1/3 along the lane is Lord of the Fries.

Pros: friendly, great nuggets.

Best Fast Food Vegan - Edit
Best place to eat in Melbourne when you want some good fast food, on the go. I would recommend the fries or faux chicken nuggets with Vegan cheese and gravy if your feeling something a little extra. The milkshakes are also great too.

Disappointing milkshake - Edit
This was my first time purchasing from this LOTF. I've eaten at others, and have always ended up regretting it. However, I was in the city late. I had earlier seen a sign, in a different LOTF shop advertising The Lords Shake, and for some reason I was craving one, badly. I overrode the voice of previous experience. I wanted a vegan cookies and cream milkshake!

The shake itself certainly wasn't bad, it just wasn't particularly good either. Firstly, there wasn't enough ice-cream in it. For the price, I was expecting a good thick shake, instead it had all the body of one made entirely on soymilk, even though I know there was soy ice-cream in it. Secondly, the oreos were overblended - I've had awesome cookies and cream shakes in the past, and part of the idea is to actually have recognisable lumps of cookie in it - so that you need an oversized straw. If it's thoroughly blended in, then it's just a chocolate milkshake that happens to have cookies as an ingredient, not really cookies and cream at all.
I think I'm cured of thinking that LOTF is a good idea for at least the next 6 months...

Was really looking forward to our meal here. Got the vegan option burgers, which didn't seem much different than an mc'd burgers. The fries were burnt and seemed like they were left overs from the day before. Can't say I will be in a rush to get back here

Convenient (but not always) Fast Food - Edit
The food is awesome if you are vegan and have the desire to eat fast food burgers. That alone has major novelty value for me. I'm not big on the veggie patty, it's rather mushy and the chicken is rather tasteless. The LOTF patty is very good as are the nuggets. This branch seems to be a bit slower than the others, I've waited over 20mins before (despite being the first order on the board when I arrived) when I thought I'd grab something on my way to get a train. Though now I've gotten over the novelty value I do try to avoid it most of the time as no matter how good quality their oil (and whatever else) it is still junk food.
