Friendly staff, nice burger and pizza - Edit
Visited last year in early September. The atmosphere was good, this vegan place naturally attracted friendly, progressive locals.

We were seated outside, when the rain came we moved inside to a very cozy and nicely decorated place downstairs.

A lot of great stuff in the menu very hard to choose❤️ The staff is very nice and food was perfect. We also had deserts which were as good as the food. 10/10.

The lady from the staff was lovely and very nice. She is a keeper. However i wish i liked more the food. Vegan pizza and burgers felt a little dry to me. I wish there was some sauces included like ketchup, vegan mayo, mustard or hummus. Also there was no napkins included in the take-out so i had to eat with dirty hands, although probably, if i had come back and ask for sauce or napkins i would've been provided with. Anyways i wish longevity and im sure they will improve as the time goes by.

A lot of vegan pizzas either have no cheese (is that even a pizza?!) or have really bad vegan cheese (that doesn't taste like cheese).⠀

Even the ones with cheese, sometimes it slides off as you try an eat it! ⠀

This pizza was different. Mostly because the vegan cheese was really tasty.⠀

The other thing I liked was the salami (it was almost like the real thing).⠀

what I really loved about thos pizza was, it wasn't greasy and the thin and crispy dough tasted like it was handmade. ⠀

I don’t know if it was, but it was delightfully crunchy and crispy yet soft where it needed to be (thanks to the awesome 🧀 ).⠀

The 🍅 sauce was rich and lovely while the vegan salami added that little saltiness it needed. ⠀

My favorite vegan place in Bucharest - Edit
As a meat and junk food lover, transitioning to a plant-based diet was challenging. 90% of vegan people are enthusiastic health freaks and the market responds with fancy expensive vegan places that serve mostly avocado, quinoa and smoothies, so all of a sudden I found myself having to change my lifestyle much more than I intended. Level Up came to the rescue and finally I have a place where I can come with my omnivore friends and have some good old beer and burger, all vegan.

Amazing Vegans Meals - Edit
It's a really different place where to eat something. At first I thought it was a take away or that we could only eat outside, but then I discovered the whole place... Just amazing, well thought and furnished. Totally approved. Unfortunately, we went there just once, but I recommend it at 100%.

Level Up is an extraordinary place on the map of Bucharest. You are offered much more than just a delicious meal. Your food is prepared from scratch- even the cheese! Stuff has excellent knowledge about all the ingredients and they are very accommodating too. Food is tasty, but cakes are absolutely amazing. Please make sure you try them.

I was very satisfied by the food, the service and the friendliness of staff. I had trouble finding the restaurant in this cold, rainy, dark evening but that was more than compensated by the colourful warmth of the place. It looks tiny from the outside but a flight of steep stairs leads you down to a room with tables, chairs, couches.
Read moreI had the Beyond Burger and found it very tasty. the Tiramisu-themed cake didn't disappoint either ! The place also seems to sell some vegan foods and drinks (chease in particular). I would no doubt go back regularly if I were to spend more time in Bucharest in the future.

The best pizza and burger! They make their own seitan which is so tasty! Also, great atmosphere there with the games, so friendly! You would never get bored there! The prices are quite acceptable, 30 lei for the burger and 25 lei for the pizza! Everuthing there is yummy!

The staff there seem to really care about the place. It’s about 5 months old (as of October 2019) and they’re still working on expanding and setting up.
Read moreThe food is Ok. It’s fast food and tastes like fast food. I was ok with that because there are so few other places to eat in Bucharest - and Romania for that matter.
I have now eaten there twice and there are more things about the place that annoy me than make me want to return.
- The location is pretty terrible on a main road. You can eat outside to the sound of traffic and horns and the smell of exhaust or you can go downstairs to the very cramped set up below. To be fair I think it’s still being set up.
- The indoor seating is cramped and lacking atmosphere. They need some music and they need to get rid of the TV.
- The menus are photocopies in plastic sleeves with scribbled notes on them. That might not sound bad but you have to see it to appreciate how it destroys the desperately needed ambience.
The main area upstairs is tiny and extremely cramped.
- The staff desperately need hospitality training. They’re all such nice people who seem really engaged in the place but their actual service is lacking a bit. They serve food out of order; They seem quite bad at communicating (I stood there waiting for any attention for ages).
I’d love them to succeed but they just need to fix issues with space, ambience and adequate service before I’d be back.
