First night in Romania and Bucharest, we were very hungry and walked 10 minutes to Level Up. Burger and atmosphere were the perfect combo! Food was tasty and affordable, atmosphere was warm and inviting, and staff was kind and funny! Will visit again😄

Veganized Romanian dishes in Bucharest - Edit
The staff is really nice, the menu has an English translation and they have romanian dishes such as polenta with stuffed cabbage. Also they have vegan blue cheese that they put on the pizza which is something I haven't seen before.

I had some hearty Italian style food at Level Up today, situated in the Jewish Quarter of Bucharest. A really cheesy pasta dish and a small pizza to go with it, then coffee to go afterwards. Perfect quick meal on the go!

I got a double something burger and it was amazing. The cheese is amazing here, beautiful in burgers and the tofu just right. I had mine on salad to make gluten free and I'd definitely come back here.

The best fast-food in Bucharest - Edit
I found Level Up in the events places as a BlaBla Language Exchange in 2019 when I had a job in Bucharest and I discovered their fabulous Pizzas, burgers ,and desserts.Now that I have another job in another city, I am constantly craving for Level Up food.I miss the people that meet there for Bla Bla , the board games events ,and the karaoke nights.

After seeing so many positive reviews and getting recommendations, my boyfriend and I were wondering if we were actually at the right place when we arrived at Level Up.
Read moreThe location is poor, and the place doesn't look very inviting, as it seems there is only seating outside. We didn't realise the seating in the basement was available, since the staircase only had a sign saying toilets. We only realised this while leaving.
They were out of the Romanian styled dishes we wanted, and if we hadn't been starving at this point, we would have left. We went with beyond burger menus, since it's hard to go wrong with.
Unfortunately, the bun was unheated and seemed cold. The burger patty itself seemed more deep-fried than grilled. The fries were bland and unsalted - we had to ask for salt. The accompanying salad was also bland, with no oil or condiment.
We were offered no glasses for our cola, or asked if we wanted a sauce for our fries, some simple steps that could have made the experience feel more welcoming.
Overall, we left feeling very disappointed.

Your opinion means a lot to us, and unfortunately we regret deeply You haven't had the best experience at our place. We can see it can be very frustrating to ask for the Romanian dishes that are some of our best options and to find out the restaurant is out of them. You're right, our place is not so big and sometimes our small team is overwhelmed by multiple tasks. We're of course very sad You haven't noticed in time the indoor space, where most of our customers and friends spend most of their time. We've made it to be friendly and cozy, maybe next time You will have the opportunity to consider it. About salt, oil and other dressings, we serve by default fries and salads without them most of the time, because many people prefer them this way, but You only have to ask for them, they are of course on the house. About burgers, some of them are by default deep fried and some grilled, but of course we can change to Your liking if You let us know before. We think as well it is a good idea to call before a visit and check out the availability of the dishes You want to order, and in general to communicate more with the staff for the best solutions. We think our customer is the most important person in the place, so, just speak up and we do our best. Cheers!

Amazing burgers - Edit
I've had 2 types of burgers, both very surprising and well balanced. I've had the level up and smokey alternative. Level up was not necessarily very meaty flavoured in comparison to smokey. Anyways, both were a good choice and I would like to try a new option next time. Hopefully, they will be able to have better fries but all in all it was a joy.

Visited last year in early September. The atmosphere was good, this vegan place naturally attracted friendly, progressive locals.

The lady from the staff was lovely and very nice. She is a keeper. However i wish i liked more the food. Vegan pizza and burgers felt a little dry to me. I wish there was some sauces included like ketchup, vegan mayo, mustard or hummus. Also there was no napkins included in the take-out so i had to eat with dirty hands, although probably, if i had come back and ask for sauce or napkins i would've been provided with. Anyways i wish longevity and im sure they will improve as the time goes by.
