I definitely recommend this place. It is indeed not super healthy as it serves junk food, but burgers are good and the owner is lovely, trying to accommodate everyone. They often serve food for people in need for free, very ethical and not money oriented

Level Up focused more on fastfood, but they also have some (veganized) traditional dishes. The small place was next to a slightly busy road and could easily be overlooked, but the quality was surprisingly good and both the kitchen staff and servers were very friendly. If you like a casual experience with a buzzing, urban atmosphere it's a great place to visit.

Read moreWe had burger with beyond patty, 4 cheeses pizza and some veganized local dishes. Plus local beer (recommended!) and cheese (doesn’t taste like blue cheese but it’s tasty and not expensive so get it!).
The food was tasty and the service was very friendly.
The only imperfection was the restaurant itself: bottom floor smells like an old basement and seats outdoors are in front of the road and right under dripping AC.
I really enjoyed the food and the waitresses were super helpful. Also there are only two fully vegan restaurants in Bucharest. So I absolutely recommend to support this place, eat here or maybe order delivery, and I wish it could move to a better location in the future.

It's been a great experience for me because I found most of the food I was craving for : vegan burgers, stuffed cabbage, pizza with 4 types of vegan cheese, it's been delicious.

The restaurant it's small and it has a very small kitchen , but the food that comes out from there, it's extraordinary.They also have cake slices and I tried Tiramisu and Rainbow Cake wich are my favourite.
And Papanaș is a romanian dessert made from a donut with berries jam and cashew sour cream .

The salad was already dried out and still served. The waitress was alone and overwhelmed with orders. Lots of waiting, traffic, worn out chairs and tables. Very surprised by the good reviews it has. Would not go again.

Having just arrived in Bucharest my partner and I headed to the closest burger joint. The burgers were okay, the buns were very stale but the chips were great and the cocktails were fresh and fruity. Will go back to try to pizza

The food was good but not amazing. The menu consist of burguer and pizza mainly. I ordered a buguer with fries and it was ok. The place isn't much either. But the staff was very nice and it's one of the few vegan places in the city, which is appreciated.

Our visit to level up was one of the highlights of our trip! The food was amazing and there is a very friendly vibe. The owner and staff are very friendly and they facilitate a great atmosphere. I find it rare to get veganised versions of local dishes when travelling, so this is a must visit!

Incredible range of options including some traditional Romanian dishes and delicious junk food favourites. I love being able to try vegan versions of traditional cuisine so this was amazing. Být vegan v Bukurešti není úplně pohádka, plant based restaurace tam nejsou na každým rohu. Tahle ale za to stála. Personál byl extrémně milý, dali nám dokonce ochutnat i jiná jídla zadarmo. Burger, hranolky i typické Rumunské jídlo bylo super. Restaurace má navíc skvělý domácí vibe.

Couldn’t have been more impressed. Lovely service and cosy downstairs seating. Had cheesy pasta (top dish 😭😍), level up burger and mini pizza. Also tried the soup which wasn’t for us as it was cold BUT super fresh and healthy. Lemonade comes with agave to make it as sweet as one likes it.

Favorite Vegan Place Ever - Edit
This place was simply great. It had a charming atmosphere downstairs where you eat, friendly and helpful owners, and DELICIOUS vegan food. I would come here even if I didn't eat vegan. I had the 'Wow Pizza' and it was so good. I also got fresh orange juice, and coffee. They were both good. The coffee had steamed soy milk, and it tasted like my dairy-consuming days and nostalgic (but with no dairy haha). The older lady somehow guessed I spoke Spanish too and was eager to practice Spanish haha. It was very cute and wholesome. This experience made my trip in Bucharest much more memorable. I can't wait to come again and try another dish.
