old review summer 2017

The food was delish, the prices good, space burst with people, and service was still fast but even for paris rather unfriendly

Good!

We had a fried rolls (nems) which are said to be the best in Paris : the garniture was really tasty but unfortunately on that night they had a problem and had to cook them in the oven, so they were not crunchy : you may ask them before if they are going to be fried or cooked in oven (definitely not the same). Then I chose The Florilège vegan which was quite good and the banana tapioca for dessert which was amazing (but very sweet).

Pros: Tasty, nice staff

Cons: On that night the nems were not crunchy because co

great food

All the food was nice, but I recommend especially the crepe as a starter and the florilège as a main dish.

Perfect!

We had the dumplings, pho and curry. All were amazing. Even my non-veg boyfriend went crazy for it and said it was the best food we’d eaten in Paris.

Best Vietnamese food we’ve ever eaten

We have eaten Vietnamese food for almost thirty years. This was superior to all the other non-vegan restaurants we’ve been to. We had Nem and the Crepes to start. We practically licked the plates. Then we had Pho, Fricasee and Curry Tofu. We loved everything. We plan to return before we leave Paris.

Pros: Lovely owner and spectacular food

Cons: none

Very tasty

Tasty, minimalist but efficient menu, it's not necessarily cheap but it is reasonable for Paris

We had the pho and bo bun. Both were tasty, and the portions were huge! Highly recommended.

Excellent

quiet restaurant with good food

The restaurant was quiet, but the food excellent.

The lady working there went out of her way to help us with the menu (French only) .

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine

Real Vietnamese, Amazing Vegan!

I loved it! The atmosphere is laid-back yet quite classy. Great service too. We took the Potage (delicious soup with mushrooms and coriander!) and the Crêpes Ha Hoi à la vapeur as the Entrées. Bo Bon and a Fricassé de Tofu su Piment as main course! Amazing! The dessert is great too (we picked the Banana et Perle de Tapioca). The menu selection is composed by 5 dishes for each section (entrée, main course and dessert) but I guess it is better as they can offer freshness and authentic meals! The Vietnamese coffee was fantastic too! I'll come back! The owner is a lovely Vietnamese woman committed at making the neighbourhood a vegan-friendly place! Her love for food and for the environment is very inspiring! 💚

Go for the food, not the service

I went around 2:15 pm for lunch, after their rush. I was the only person in the restaurant, and there were 3 staff members. Despite it being regular business hours and the first server telling me I could choose from any of the mains, once I ordered, a second staff member came over and said the kitchen was closed so I would have to choose from 2 of the 6 or so mains....neither of which I wanted. When I hesitated, the second staff member then said they would make what I originally ordered!

At the end of the day, I had the papaya salad which was crunchy and a bit vinegary for my taste but still good, and the tofu curry which was loaded with veg and nicely flavoured but not spicy - there was a different option for spice lovers. At €14, the meal was economical by Paris standards.

Pros: tasty food, reasonable prices, good portion size

Cons: inconsistent service

Good food, reservation required on weekends!

Bun bo and dumplings were great. Pho not so amazing. Small place with one woman waiting on everyone... a little overwhelmed.

wow! a treat worth waiting for

What an exquisite meal! I am enjoying lunch here, after coming too late the other day. The spicing is complex and delicate, the textures wonderful. It's worth going out of your way to find this lovely place. For those with a Paris Pass, it's just down the street from the Paris Pass desk.

Pros: excellent food, a cut above the rest, reasonable prices

Cons: none except if you get here at the wrong time

excellent

Merci

Vegan paradise at reasonable prices

We enjoyed our lunch in Vietnam in Paris, starting with appetizers: crêpes , papaya salad, delicately flavored mushroom soup . Main courses were curry, Bo Bun platter, and sautéed tofu with mushrooms. There is a daily special and various fixed price combinations (appetizer & main; main & dessert; coffee & dessert tasting platter). Service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was not noisy or crowded. I plan to return to try their Pho, and definitely savored the Bo Bun: rice noodles, spring rolls, stewed tofu, mint, crispy raw cucumber & lettuce .

We came early, at noon, because a week before we had arrived at 3PM, and most dishes were sold out.

Pros: Fresh and tasty , Varied menu, Friendly multi lingual staff

Cons: Lunch only (except for Friday dinner service), Another restaurant with similar name is not vegan

Great, authentic Vietnamese

I've been here twice, the first time by accident, the second with a Vietnamese (non-vegan) friend looking for a late breakfast. Both times the staff have been incredibly warm and friendly (the second they even opened early for us!) The food is delicious, varied, and seems very authentic, very clean, simple and tasty.

Pros: Very friendly staff, Quick service, Delicious, authentic food

Great Vietnamese food

This Vietnamese restaurant keeps its promises by offering a tasty vegetarian-vegan food. You have to ask the waiter to be sure the dishes you order are vegan because they do not label them (which is a pity). The staff is friendly and the place very nice, with colorful paintings. In terms of food, quality of an homemade food is here, traditional Vietnamese dishes also. The bo bun is great and I recommend it. Portions are not huge so you should order two dishes if you are very hungry.
To sum up: try it!

Pros: vegan options, excellent food, nice place

Cons: vegan choices not labelled, little portions

Best Vegetarian in Paris!

I recently was visiting Paris, and I found this quaint boutique and restaurant featuring authentic Vietnamese vegetarian food. Chef Lan was super friendly, and she has really made a unique boutique and restaurant. She is originally from Vietnam, and you can see the traditional food plus new ones that she has created. Definitely a place to check out!

Pros: Excellent food, Unique hidden gem, Art boutique and restaurant

Cons: Not open on Sundays
