We had a nice time here but the food was nothing special. We really appreciated being able to try a veggie francesinha though.

Fantastic, mind-blowing - Edit
All the things were vegan, but the menu makes me doubt (because they didn't 'for example cheese'). But the services were very friendly and told us everything is really vegan. We ask for a small portion but they offer us to go for a starter and a menu so we had the same portion. They give us 2 plates and a knife and spoon extra. The food was delicious! I've never tasted anything as good as this was!

Kong rules - Edit
My favourite place in Lisbon, best place for Francesinha in my opinion although the one from Ao26 is pretty good too. The only thing I wasn't huge fan of (or other members of the party) was the fish dish. Having said that I'm comparing it to Tofish from unity dinner (or No Catch) in the UK which is the best of the best!

Absolutely love - Edit
I went here with my non-vegan grandma and she was so so impressed! We both loved everything we ordered, I really loved being able to try vegan versions of Portuguese food while travelling, the octopus mushroom dish was especially innovative and so flavourful.

Authentic & incredible - Edit
Seriously good authentic Portuguese food in the centre of Lisbon. Amazing food quality and flavours, with reasonable prices and big portions! We shared two starters and then couldn’t finish our mains, let alone try one of the stunning deserts. Would come back in a heartbeat!!

Vegan Portuguese food! - Edit
So nice to find a fully vegan restaurant that offers authentic Portuguese food. Such a nice spot in a central area but it didn't feel crowded at all. The croquettes and the cauliflower wings were amazing and the seitan steak was also really good (and unlike anything I really had before taste and texture wise).

I have never had such a good and perfect steak!! the staff is super friendly and they do everything so you have a good time there! Definitely go there while in Lisbon. (Maybe reserve a table it’s quite busy we were lucky but it gets quick full)

We ate here for our last meal in Lisbon, so it had to be good-and this didn’t disappoint. Go here for traditional comfort food and lighter options too, good service and cool vibes. We loved the Francesinha and were absolutely stuffed after😄

Great little restaurant - Edit
We visited Kong for dinner one night during our week long stay in Lisbon. It's a nice little place in Chiado. It's nothing fancy but has a cool, relaxed vibe. The menu is quite short with maybe half a dozen starters, mains and desserts but as everything is vegan that means there's plenty to choose from. My wife and I shared the croquetes to start. I then had the happy 'octopus' while my wife went big with the francesinha. Portions are generous but we just had room for a snickers dessert between us. Everything was really good. Service was fast & friendly. What's more, it was pretty good value at just €45 for two, including two glasses of wine each! It is quite small and got full on the evening we visited so booking is recommended.
