We had two starters. The bacalou and pulled pork tart. They were both delicious. The main courses, the salmon and the traditional ribs, were really good. The highlight was the salmon with tofu and spinach.

It’s our first time in Portugal, and we wanted to try typical dishes—something that turned out to be difficult as vegans. But then we discovered this restaurant and were blown away! Everything was just incredibly delicious, and it looked fancy, too. 10 out of 10!

First I was a bit bummed that the main dishes come with very little veggies and are just fake meat and carbs... but oh my the seitan "ribs" were so good! I have been vegan for 13 years and have never gotten the "meat eater" experience this way😄to taste a regional dish, get a proper amount of protein and all that so well done and served beautifully. Also I got the grilled veg for 3,50 on the side ;)a vegan girl needs her fiber. Afterwards I had the nutella cake and switched the berry icecream to pistachio - so creamy and lovely. I was so happy. The latte came in a small cappuccino size and was filtered coffee with soymilk😄was not the most delicious for my taste but suffice!
My mom had the iced tea which was a cinnamon tea without sugar. And the starter salad. Which was just fresh spinach, tomatoes and croutons - a bit too expensive for what it was... So if you want a suuper healthy vegetable heavy warm stewy meal, this is not your place. But if you want to feel like a meat eater trying local food on a higher scale - try it.
The atmosphere: the restaurant is on the first floor, you have to climb a couple of steep stairs...
It was nice, calm and spacious with a light jungle atmosphere. The gorilla theme is a question of taste... I have seen more beautiful places, but it's definitely an overall nice experience.
And last but not least😉the little rooms that tell you a lot about a place:
The toilets are a bit dark and small but very clean!

Wir hatten die Crocettas zum ersten Gang, die Rippchen und das Fischfilet zum Hauptgang (an der Seite Grillhemüse und Tomatensalat), der seafoodrice ist von nun an unter den Top 2 meiner Lieblingsgerichte.
Es gibt gegrilltes Gemüse vor dem ich keine Angst haben muss dass es neben Tierleichen lag.
Zum Dessert gab es Pastel de Nata und Pistazienkuchen (beides mit Eisbegleitung)
Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, da gibt es noch unprobierte Gerichte auf der Karte.
