A small stall that offers vegan bread (banh mi chay) and soy milk. On full moon days (the 1st and 15th of the month) vegan pho (noodle soup) is also offered. Open Mon 9:00am-11:30pm, Tue-Sun 9:00am-8:30pm, Thu-Sun 6:30am-9:30am. Hours reported to be irregular.

This food stall deserves so much credit. Such good Bahn Mi at such a good price. I’ve always been a bit hesitant of food stalls as a vegan, but there’s no concern here whatsoever. It was so good we went back twice (if only we hadn’t found it on our final day!)

Best Vegan Banh Mi - Edit
We got in to Hoi An quite late and a lot of veg options were either closed or too far. Luckily we managed to get to Hoi An Banh My Chay just before closing. The owner had ran out of bread but asked us to sit while she went to get more. I have to say this has been one of my favourite meals in Vietnam. She went out of her way for us and it was greatly appreciated. Don’t hesitate, it’s delicious and fresh!

Excellent banh mi for cheap. Only 15k. It’s not the biggest sandwich but it’s got lots of flavour. Very grateful to find a tasty vegan banh mi for cheap as it feels more authentic than most places we need to go to get vegan banh mi.
