Göteburgare Vegan offers a cozy basement setting with a pleasantly “gritty” but still welcoming atmosphere. We didn’t need to book a table, which made it easy to just drop in.
Read moreThere is a wide selection of different patties to choose from, which was actually a nice problem to have—it made it a bit hard to decide, but in a good way. We ordered sweet potato fries on the side and some beer. Unfortunately, the beer menu wasn’t fully up to date, which made it a bit harder to take our time choosing among the different options.
Our orders were initially mixed up with another couple who had ordered the same burgers but different sides and sauces. We sorted it out quickly ourselves with the other guests, and the staff were almost equally fast in responding once they noticed. The exchange worked out fine in the end without any issues.
The burgers themselves were really tasty, and mine felt extra fresh. That said, it was a bit messy to eat.

Cons: Beer menu not fully updated, Order mix-up (even if handled smoothly), Burgers can be a bit messy to eat

Unfortunately super disappointing. I’ve had better vegan burgers at non vegan places in the middle of nowhere. Not sure what’s going on there, it’s hard to get burgers wrong… maybe I chose the wrong burger…? But a cool place in a nice area😄

I go here with my non vegan friends and we all really like the burgers. The only con is this place is pretty small and they often host quizzes (which is really fun but can ruin the vibe if you’re there to just eat).

Many different patties!!! - Edit
I was a bit disappointed during my last visit. I think I had too high expectations. The burgers are ok. I wouldn't say they're anything special. But, they offer many different sort of patties, instead of just varying the toppings which is kind of fun.

So this is the small place, half a flight down, but also with outdoor seating. We were there one evening in July and sat inside because they also had a quiz that we wanted to join. There were three of us and we all had different burgers with strips, and they all tasted delicious. Well worth a visit, and also quite affordable!

The burgers are quite good and varied. We had the BBQ-oumph burger with a nice touch of guacomole and a blackbeanpatty, whixh was quite tasty. I guess they baked the black beans before blending them into a Patty. You order via a QR-code and webpage or ask the staff for a menu. We had to wait for 35 minutes for out burger which was kinda long for a burger place.

I had a good burger with a side of fries and a oreo milkshake as a dessert. The food was nice, but nothing outstanding, but it was nice to experience the feeling of washing down greasy food with a unhealthy shake again after a long time. Really nostalgic.
