Tasty vegan choices - Edit
There's a vegetarian/vegan section on the menu, but it doesn't specifically label anything so we were running on our general knowledge of the cuisine. There are also three tasting menus which can be served vegan, but it doesn't say what dishes you'll get and two of them are the same price, so for me it's impossible to choose one. All they need to do is make the effort to write down what the vegan menu would be. Meat eaters aren't asked to order in ignorance, so vegans shouldn't be either. We ended up ordering a few dishes from the menu and it was a good amount of food for two hungry people.
Read moreHummus: a nice smooth hummus, well seasoned, with some delicious olive oil on top.
Zaatar bread: one serving was two small breads (folded in half in the basket). They were plump and pillowy with plenty of zaatar. This was my favourite dish, it was really delicious.
Falafel: four falafel with a dip which we weren't sure was vegan. They were really crispy on the outside, with a lovely herby filling.
Makdous: the restaurant was a little dark and there was a bit of salad here which made it difficult to see what was actually in the bowl and how many pieces there were. To me, the pickling sharpness overpowered the filling, which felt a bit unsubstantial.
Fried potatoes: small potato chunks, they were hot and crisp, but nothing exciting on the seasoning front.
Koftas: there were three balls in a rich tomato sauce. The meatballs were lovely, really dense and flavoursome.

Decadent dip into Palestinian cuisine 🕊️ - Edit
Visited 16th of May, 2026, during Bryggan Beer Fest.
Read moreLovely Palestinian restaurant located in beautiful Göteborg with both vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. Strongly reminds me of the Tabbouli restaurants that we have in Stockholm (which is a good thing!).
Instead of having a hard time choosing, we split a tasting menu (vegan/non veg).
Of the three different tasting menus to choose from, we were recommended (being vegan) to go with Baba George, which is 399 sek per person.
The dishes were amazing with taboule, hummus, baba ganouj, fatoush, falafel, garlic dip sauce, cauliflower in sour white sauce and incredible veg meatballs in tomato sauce ..and more.
With that a very tasty (Libanese) Almaza lager, 33 cl, 95 sek.
Highly, undoubtedly, recommend! 🕊️

Amazing food with lots of vegan options - Edit
Perfect if you are eating out with a mix of dietary requirements. There was loads of vegan food on the menu (a whole vegan section). They also seemed very happy to accommodate a vegan diet in any of their dishes if they could. I had not eaten Palestinian food before but the flavours were amazing! I loved it. Really nice staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely great! - Edit
We have been here a few times and both the food and service are phenomenal. There are vegan options on the menu, but they also have three tasting menus, actually meze, all three of which can be made vegan, and that's what we had today. The food was really SO good, and at a really reasonable price, and like I said, the staff are super too. Can highly recommend the place!

Had the vegan kafta, warak inab and hommus belahme - they were all very yummy and aromatic! Such good oriental food 😍 They had many vegan dishes and the tasting menus could be made entirely vegan. Will definitely come back here!

Would go there again - Edit
Relly nice place to go if you are in Göteborg and you like oriental food (palestine/libanon). The vegan options were really delicious. We took the Aladdin meal and got delicious hummus, baba ganoush, köfte, salad, springrolls with spinach, falaffel warak enab (stuffed wine leafes) and much more.

Great food, great service - Edit
The restaurant have been around for many years, serves great food and are well aware of what's vegan or what could be adapted to be vegan.

Beautiful food - Edit
Came here for the lunch menu and I ordered the vegan kafta in a creamy sauce and pita bread. It was so flavourful and the texture was great. Also, the mezze that came out first were also delicious. The meals took a little while to arrive but not too long. I would definitely recommend this place!
