Don’t Miss This Place! - Edit
This is the type of place where u treat yo self. It’s worth it. Gourmet. Great atmosphere. Kind staff. Don’t miss out.
Read moreI had the vegan lasagna. Came with a salad. The dressing on the salad alone blew me away. I knew I was in for a treat with this meal. It’s one of those places that’s a culinary experience not just a meal.

Tasty and interesting - Edit
I convinced my non-vegan friends to join me here for dinner, and it was a great experience! The selection of food was good, but for a non meat eater, all of the entrees we tried were too ‘meaty.’ This would be a bonus for many! The drink selection was very interesting but a bit pricey.

The fancy vegan place - Edit
The emphasis is on quality over quantity for sure, but worth the price. Been here multiple times and the staff has always been great. Come here for the experience of food artistry! Dessert options are also worthwhile.

Even my brother enjoyed it! - Edit
My meat eating brother enjoyed it! For the appetizer we tried the Poutine - gravy on the fries was amazing but the advertised “cheese curds” were not there, just a sprinkle of vegan cheese melted on top. I had the lasagna which had the most amazing flavor combinations. The desserts were out of this world, anyone who can make me forget that it is vegan creme brûlée is doing something right!

They plant a tree for you! - Edit
Not only is the food delicious and vegan, they plant a tree for every customer, have great espresso and coffee, have stevia in the raw, and play good music. It is perfect for a date or meeting.

Good food & cute environment - Edit
The lasagna is to die for...and the cauliflower wings are great too. The menu rotates seasonally, and their brunch is the jam. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the environment is really chill and laid-back. They'll validate your Calhoun Square ramp parking too.

Brunch buffet was amazing - Edit
Gotta love an all vegan restaurant where you can eat anything worry free. The breakfast buffet had a really wide variety of options like French toast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled tofu, and more. Really tasty and so happy we came here!

Delicious food- not so polished server - Edit
The food was delicious! The tomato soup and jambalaya were PERFECT for a freezing cold day! Unfortunately, I arrived in the transition from lunch to dinner and was served by a person who seemed to be the bartender. He was not as polished as I would have expected from the other reviews here. When back in Minneapolis, I will definitely come back. Let’s hope the service will be better

My new favorite restaurant - Edit
We went for my birthday last night. We had drinks, appetizers, and a dessert. This is the first time we have gone there since it has become fully vegan. This is what all vegan restaurants should aspire to be. The atmosphere was good (not crazy loud, family friendly, tasteful but casual decor), the service was great (thanks for a memorable evening Madison!), the food was tastefully and thoughtfully prepared. The food was awesome full stop. Non vegans will enjoy eating here. I am a good cook, so we are often disappointed when we go out because my version of the dish is better. The kitchen staff at Fig and Farro is inspiring me to up my game. We will be back!

Gets better each time! - Edit
I’ve been to Fig & Farro four times now and am more impressed each time I go. The atmosphere is always stunning and my service has been bare none. But the food continues to amaze me and I keep craving going back. Highly suggest the jambalaya and artichoke dip.

Literally Fig Farro is a vegan gold mine! I love their soups, jack fruit tacos, and brunch! Everything is good, and their artisanal drinks aren’t half bad either!

Yum!!! Don’t miss this place, Go!!! - Edit
I’d never had a vegan buffet of any kind before (and I’ve been vegan a looong time & eat out a fair amount) The Brunch Buffet was SO good! WELL worth the cost! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Liked the diversity and friendliness of staff and the atmosphere. Also, appreciate that they’re vocal about the link between the climate crisis and the importance plant based eating... Having that on the menu and website as their mission, goes a long way to me. More people need to put that together and fast!

So disappointed - Edit
We were looking forward to eating here and sadly found it bland, uninteresting, and with very boring flavor profiles. There was no spark or imagination in any of the many entrees we ordered (there were 7 of us). Vegetables were not celebrated, they were functional. We would not return. For what we ate, it was overpriced because it was humdrum and prosaic. It's unfortunate.

Classy & plant based - Edit
This place is great for celebrating something. It’s expensive but it does a lot of great community work and honestly the food is really good and the drinks are creative. I love to go here when I’m celebrating something. There are also so many cool events here like yoga and climate change education events.

Great place - Edit
The interior design is antiquey with worn out Persian rugs and patina furniture which gives the place all around good vibes- nice ambiance too. The food is a tad overpriced but they offer a lot of eclectic dishes and I enjoyed mine. Would recommend trying it!

Fig + Farro = Fantastic - Edit
Definitely a must if you like creative vegan dishes and drinks. The staff are also very easy going and genuinely seem to enjoy working there. Try the buffalo cauliflower and the patty melt. You can thank me later. 😉

I drive thru town and chose Fig and Farro. Raviolis were good. Too much oil though tasty. Finished off with key lime. Great place for a party. Full bar.

Good but often greasy/too much oil - Edit
I like F&F and love the owner and everything they stand for. Creative menu and it’s a cool option for dinner or brunch. However whether it’s breakfast or dinner, my meal always seems to be dripping with grease and I’m saddened by how much oil is used. Would love to see more fresh items instead of fried or grilled.

Delicious meal - Edit
We had a great dinner at Fig Farro. We ordered tempeh tacos as a starter, I had the crispy tempeh, and my friend had the around the world salad. We shared the avocado doce dessert which was surprisingly good. Definately more than enough food, nothing disappointed, but not the cheapest meal. We will definately be back, but need to spread it out a bit due to cost.
Read moreEdit: Enjoyed a second meal here which seemed more of a winter menu. Everything was good. The Wild mushroom starter had burning sage and they had a very nice smoky flavor. The pesto lasagna was everyone’s favorite entree, but we all enjoyed our meal.
Pros: Very vegan friendly, Delicious, healthy food
Cons: Cost
