OK in a pinch - Edit
I'd heard great things about this place but went in open minded. I was seated promptly but it took 30 mins to be asked for my order. Food was OK, the bread roll the burger was in was quite dry though, but still edible. The burger was nothing special, but it was OK! I was over charged and told that the server didn't know how to change the total so I just had to pay it. I had a show to go to so didn't have time to argue or ask for someone else to sort it. Would I go back? Yes but only if all the other choices were not available,Bohns for example is very close and a far superior experience

This places offers 3 vegan burgers. I also appreciated the fact that they had a number of sides and sauces that are vegan. The drinks (including the shakes) are clearly labelled as vegan. Friendly fast service. A good choice for vegan fast food.

The best chckn burgers! - Edit
I had the Kalu Faker and my girlfriend had the Notorious VFC, honestly the best vegan chckn burgers we’ve had and was lovely to see so many variations so we could try something new! The fried chilli’s on the kalu were gorj and the smoky bbq flavour of the notorious was so rich! A little bit spenny but included sides so I can’t complain!

Probably the best vegan burgers in Nottingham now - Edit
Since the closure of dedicated vegan burger restaurants, I'm not aware of a better vegan burger range than here. Every time we try Fat Hippo the vegan range improves. I think there is more choice in the restaurant than on deliveroo too. I love their chick'n style burgers. The hardest thing is getting your mouth round it! The kula faker has liquid vegan cheese. The coleslaw and onion rings are vegan as standard. The onion rings are amazing and are the size of your hand! They now have a vegan Mr whippy syle ice cream machine, and they do a range of milkshakes, alcoholic milkshakes (think only 1 is vegan) and desserts too. The desserts are made with black ice cream. They also have vegan mayo if that's what you like on your chips. I'd definitely rate the food a 5, (but 4 is the max allowed as they serve non-vegan items). Next step is for the restaurant to do what Annie's does and offer a vegan option on every burger.

Spenny place but decent portions. Sides were particularly good and weren't outshone as can often the case. Loved the loaded tater tots. Good drink selection. Took ages to get staff attention for drinks and for bill.

Travelling for work. I was eating out with a colleague. Therefore great choice of vegan and none vegan burgers. No vegan deserts though.

Fat Hippo has a very good selection of vegetarian and vegan starters and most of their veggie meals can be made vegan on request. The burgers are either plant-based patties or Quorn-like alternatives. Each burger has options for vegan upgrades, like dirty fries.
