Favourite of mine - Edit
One of my go to favourites. Food is excellent and staff know which drinks are vegan. They team up with local vegan places like Mocky D to update the vegan menu from time to time but I wish they did this more. I can’t fault the food, drinks or staff. They make their own vegan Mayo so it’s not to everyone’s taste. The pizza is made there and delicious.

Worth hunting out ... - Edit
Had a tasty vegan burger, chips, salad, onion rings and slaw here. Also rich and gooey vegan chocolate cake and oat milk latte.

Having been a regular at Broadway for many years, they have been getting a lot better at catering for Vegans, especially at the turn of the year!
Read moreIn January they did a full vegan / vegetarian menu take over! It was amazing, not only were favourites such as the Kimchi Tater tots still on the menu, they added vegan cheese to pizzas and a Mocky D Burger!
It looks like the changes are here to stay as well, the new menu post January has come back with a mainly Vegan / Vegetarian menu with only a few selected meat dishes.
They also have a wide selection of Vegan wines and beers, as well as Oat and Soy milk for your coffees and teas!
Always great to grab a bite before a film or even just when meeting with friends! Great food and long may the menu changes continue!
Pros: Vegan Cheese pizzas , 2 for 1 pizzas Monday - Weds after 5pm, Much wider vegan menu than before
Cons: Still a few meat dishes - but not many!, Can get busy at lunch and dinner

The food at Broadway is decent value and pretty reliable but nothing exciting. They usually only have one vegan main on the specials board so there’s not much choice. The vegan pizzas are pretty plain too (and a couple of times they’ve left off toppings without telling us, leaving us with some rather sorry-looking pizzas).

Tasty mushroom burger! - Edit
I love eating at Broadway. They do delicious mushroom burgers, tasty "not dogs" and have a vegan pizza option which doesn't have cheese, but still tastes great. I've had some really amazing vegan food from their specials menu as well, including vegan mac and cheese. All their food is very reasonably priced and you get a good sized portion. The staff are all really friendly and it has a great laid back atmosphere. I also like to buy one of their small tubs of vegan ice cream to eat in the cinema.

Good place to eat before the film :) - Edit
From the main menu, I have only had one of vegan pizzas and the dough was very hard and too dry to eat it. On the other hand, their cakes and coffees are very nice and always provide at least one vegan option. The place is always busy, but I go very often to watch films and sometimes want to go to the cafe as well. Will definitely try more options from the menu, especially that they have updated to more vegan choices recently.

Rubbish for vegans - Edit
They have changed their menu and taken the only inventive vegan dish, a wonderful marinated mushroom burger off the menu.
Read moreTheir only vegan options are: processed spicy bean burger (AVOID it is horrible), Linda McCartney sausage in a bun, salad and pizza with no cheese.
This used to be a place with interesting, tasty vegan options, but it's definitely not worth going here now if you are vegan.
An all round really poor attempt at having vegan items on the menu.

Cons: Very basic uninventive vegan options, Bean burger fasts FOUL , Removed tasty interesting items off the menu

Vegan portobello burger - Edit
They do an amazing vegan portobello burger with vegan guacamole, served with fries and battered onion rings. It's so tasty and juicy. Always lots of vegan options but the only vegan dessert appears to be the little tubs of booja booja ice cream. Soya milk available for hot drinks.

The cooked breakfast here is vegan and was very good. They also stock non-dairy milk too for your hot drinks. It was a nice place, and had a lovely friendly atmosphere on a weekend morning, without being too crowded.

Decent choice - Edit
Broadway cafe has a fair amount of choice for veggies and vegans. There is usually always something on the specials board that's vegan and if not they can usually make it so. Otherwise you can choose from tasty sandwiches, sides and tapas. They do have soya milk.
