I ate here once, haven’t returned. The food was ok, too healthy for my tastes though. I eat healthy during the week at home and bring lunches to work, but when the weekend comes I go out to eat and treat myself with something tasty. Not saying it has to be trash like Oreos and soda but this place was too earthy for my weekend excursions. Oh and the coffee was awful. I will say, in their defense though, the food seemed like quality and had pretty good flavor just wasn’t what I was looking for.

good vibes, overpriced - Edit
Food was good but pricey for what I got and although it all tasted good, I felt like it was something I could make for meal prep. Its a super home-y feel.

Pricy, decent food - Edit
A cute hipster vegan cafe on Sunset in Hollywood. I got the veggie panini and a chocolate chip banana muffin-the muffin was great, the panini needed some seasoning (I’d say it was a great if it was an $8 sandwich but it was $11).The prices were definitely high for what I got but this looks to be a small independent shop so I felt good about supporting it. Be prepared to wait as there was only one person preparing food.

Happy, Vegan-Hippies! - Edit
Vegan cafe located in the heart of West Hollywood w/ a hippy/new age atmosphere, and comfortable seating options!
Read moreFood ****
Delicious homemade veggie panini and veggie burger with vegan cheese and an assortment of toppings! Very filling and satisfying!
Atmosphere ****
The summer of love is alive and well at Elderberries Threefold Cafe! It's like you've walked into a hippie's home here! Old records and posters line the walls. Seating is spread out and good amount considering that the space is not that large!
Service ****
The staff is very courteous and greets customers as "friends". Seemed very sincere and caring!
Price $$
Affordable vegan food and filling too!
Pros: New age, hippy cafe—cozy!, Assortment of different vegan options, VERY friendly staff
Cons: Not so easy parking (look for side streets)

Alright but special café - Edit
The salads we had were tasty and the whole atmosphere of the café was hippie but everything was not that clean. Although the portions were not very big compared to the price.

The dishes aren't clean and the food is less than premium. Had a very old world hippy vibe which is fine but the price didn't reflect the quality.

I loved this café, decoration, environment and very kind staff. I had a nourishing and comforting breakfast, fresh ginger hot tea and quinoa porridge. It was hard for me to decide what to order, so many tasty good and healthy options.

I got the veggie frittata and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I could eat it every day! The homefries had a bit of ginger mixed in too, odd but it worked!

Cute cafe - Edit
Good vibe and hippy décor. We ate a fruity salad (I forget the name) and a breakfast tortilla (which was more like a cheesy sauce...) they both tasted really, really good. The tap water is fruity, a nice touch. They outside seating to the rear.

This is a lovely little place in West Hollywood, kind of hard to see from the road, but so worth the trip! The food is amazing, they have a great menu, and the guy who waited on me was the happiest, friendliest server I have ever encountered!! Try the soups, they are all amazing!! Everything is great here - wish I lived closer!!

I wish I had read the reviews a year ago, awesome! - Edit
I don't know what took me over a year to make it to Elderberries! We went today, on a Sunday during live Jazz! There was an amazing two piece, guy on guitar and fabulous female singer, they were amazing. There was a gallery showing and the place was packed. If I had known about the free parking in back I'd have been here sooner, too! I wish I had read all the great info on here. There is a cute outdoor seating area in the back, and a bar on the inside and cozy seating area beyond that where the Sunday Jazz band plays. Despite being slammed with the gallery/jazz performance everyone was extremely attentive to us and catered to our oil-free vegan needs. They give you samples of the soup, prepare everything out in the open with plastic gloves. The raw chili sandwich is pretty darn fantastic! We also had the Mary Jane date shakes. My new Sunday spot!

Mellow vibe, healthy food - Edit
I had read about this place on happycow and have eaten here once. Here's my Elderberries review.
Read moreFrom the raw friendly and vegan friendly menu I ordered a smoothie ($6) with added E3Live ($2) and a tempeh sandwich ($8). Both were delicious.
The atmosphere is very causal and artsy with large mural paintings. The feel is more like a cafe for reading and hangout rather than a restaurant.
Pros: friendly owner, healthy food

A delicious brunch/ great vibe - Edit
The ladies were super friendly when we came for brunch on my first day in LA. The place is lovely, nicely decorated & has a pavement and parking terrace. There's a free parking in the back. I had a yummy smoothie with an extra shot of flaxseed as maca powder wasn't available. The breakfast burrito was delicious and satisfied my appetite, I didn't have any space (sadly) for a brownie... Highly recommended!

Best service ever, great potential - Edit
i went to elderberries this week and was blown away by the service. The owner remembered my name from one time when i stopped by and didn't eat, and she offered me sample after sample of amazing food. the place is almost entirely vegan (save for a honey mix-in for drinks), and the sweet creations they make are incredible. they also have daiya cheese, the best vegan cheese ever in the world....so bonus points for that.
Read morei am looking forward to them expanding their menu.
Pros: great service, serves daiya, amazing sweets
Cons: inconsistent hours, small menu
